Gotta Watch: Laughing babies

In need of a good laugh? Well, nothing is more contagious than babies giggling. From wacky to just plain cute, Gotta Watch compiled the best videos of goofy infants.

Kids laugh at the darndest things – Most people are annoyed by the sound of snoring, but this baby can't stop laughing at the snoring canine next to her.

Baby laughs in the face of rejection – This baby seems to have a "glass half full" mentality. Seeing the brighter side in his dad’s job rejection letters, this baby cracks up as his dad shreds the responses from potential employers.

It’s snot funny – A baby goes from terrified to amused in seconds after watching his mother blow her nose. [cnn-video url="http://www.cnn.com/video/#/video/bestoftv/2011/03/21/exp.viral.laughing.baby.cnn"%5D

Ticklish baby penguin – Even though it’s a baby of another species, this tiny penguin from the Cincinnati Zoo loves a good laugh.

It's not funny, though many here will joke or get "I'm angry" for it being pointed out, but you can actullay goto Youtube.com and watch a nurse holding a little partially birthed baby's legs from kicking as a doktor pokes a hole in the little girls head and attatches a small tune that sucks her brains out untill her legs stop kicking. PBA's are gruesome to watch, and so if you have any tears left after crying in publiic over the deaths of complete strangers, you might want to have some Kleenex handy before clicking on 'play'.

All surgical procedures are gruesome to watch. Thank God, we live in a country where a woman's right to choose to have/not have her baby is protected by law. Fewer unwanted children brought into the world = fewer children to be neglected, uncared for, and/or abused.

Wow Mike, you're glad that you live in a country where women are allowed to brutally murder their children just because they got knocked up?

Your argument that it saves the world from unwanted children fails on so many levels. First, there are lots of couples who are unable to have children and are going to extraordinary lengths to adopt. Second, are you serious that murder is the solution to "unwanted" people? Where does that lead – do we pull the homeless off the street and gas them? If someone is unemployed for a period of time do they get the ax (literally)? Maybe the solution to social security and Medicare funding is to simply kill anyone over age 65 – and not humanely, they get their brains sucked out by a tube while alive and conscious.

      You're a ghoul.

Thanks, Joe. I've got plenty of time on my hands to go watch that video. Ever since I retired (aka fraudulent military entytelment claims made by literally 10's of thousands) from the Marines. As soon as I finish working my ass off at my cash-based tire and wheel store next to a military base in town, i'll check it out.

@Joe. Thanks, friend My wife and I will watch that video as soon as the adult entertainment channel is done with us for the day. We have plenty of time now that we are so obese we even get 'handicapped parking' priviledges on top of our early social security disabily that we had to sue the social security administration to get. This movie we're watching now should be over in a couple of hours depending on how many times we pause and 'zoom in' on the entertainment.

I thought this was settled ages ago – that instinctively, the baby can initially only respond to external stimuli in three ways (ignore it, laugh, or cry). These responses grow more varied over time but until they learn to verbalize their responses they will laugh (or cry) at almost anything – especially if they've learned it will get more attention. For some babies, even frightening them will result in instinctual laughter – although I am not aware of any predilection for them to turn into "risk-junkies" as they mature.

These babies are just not that funny. The kids are cute for like 10 seconds and that is it! I could not finish any of the clips in their entirety.
