It would be nice to know where the epicenter was located. Living due west of Prague, we felt like it was awful close.

4 miles west of Prague +/- 9 miles in any direction so it MIGHT have been very near you, depth 3.1 miles +/- 1.9 miles magnitude 2.7 per USGS.

If it was 2:12 or 2:34 it was about 20 miles nE of you +/- 8 miles with a 4.7 or 3.4 magnitude respectively, if it was 2:44 it could have been a 2.7 very near you.

The "New Madrid" faultline produced the largest and most destructive earthquake in American history. There had been several indications throughout the mid-west that say that faultline may be ready to jolt the mid-west again. During that earthquake, almost 200 years ago, the actual course of the Mississippi River was changed!

I think it was in England that they stop a Gas extraction company from doing more fracking because it was determine that they were causing small earthquakes.
