Oklahoma rattled by state's largest quake

A 5.6-magnitude earthquake struck central Oklahoma late Saturday night - the largest to hit the state since record-keeping began.
The quake struck 4 miles east of Sparks in Lincoln County at 11:53 p.m. ET, the United States Geological Survey said.
There were no immediate reports of damage.
It was the same area where a 4.7-magnitude quake struck at 3:12 a.m. ET Saturday. By 8 a.m., geologists had recorded more than 30 aftershocks from it.
The strongest quake previously reported was of magnitude 5.5 on April 9, 1952, according to the Oklahoma Geological Survey.

Really thats it? Thats the best CNN has on this. If this happened on the east coast it would be front and center. Just so CNN knows people watch there station west of the Mississippi as well.

Guten Morgan. Ithn't it jutht a lovely day. My name ith marty. What'th your name? Hello. Ath director of the Earth Quake Anti-Defamtion League, I feel that it'th my duty to make thsure that people here on thC NN know that EQ'th really aren't that bad. Ath you know, there have alwayth been earthquakes...for thcentures, each time an EQ would thshow it'th face in public, mean people would dithcriminate againstht them. For yearth we here at EQADL thtruggled getting EQ'th accepted as part of main thstream thsociety. But we have much work ahead of uth. Now that EQ's are coming out of the clothet, we thsee a lot of dithscrimination against them, with people calling them bad nameth and blaming them for cautheing damage to our thsociety. We mutht love and accept EQ's and embrace them. What isth it thay thsay...let he who hath no thsin catht the firtht thstone. Look! EQ'th have no thsin! And thso it's ok for them to throw aths many rockth as they want. Ithn't it a lovely day. gb, marty.

..oh! And we are looking for volunteerth if you would like to help us inform people about the natural goodneth of EQ's. You can do thith her on thC NN newth blogth by letting people know that everything is ok...EQ'th are jutht natural, and thso there ith no cauthe to be alarmed. And if you thsee someone here saying bad thingth about EQ'th or implying that they have anything to do with the phony god book...well, thatth justht silly. Earthquakes are OK! That'th what I always thsay! (this message brought to you by the makers of Seroquel and other fine pharmaceuticals. "5 a day keeps the EQ's away")

@ s kel...you posted "communism is dead". China is communist, and they own you. Look! See how for centuries China built walls and closed themselves off from the world. Do we not see Americans doing the same thing?...living in gated communities with walls all around? Do we not see people living in communes, homes where so many people live in them, you can't even find a place to park on the street because each house has 5 cars. And look at the welfare housing...huge apartment complexes packed with people who pay little rent, and tax-free. China is the richest country on earth, so how can you say communism is dead? (debt does not make rich...so don't go saying that the USA is rich. The USA has the most debt in the world's history and only account for 4% of the worlds population!) And how can you point your finger at people being off-topic? This thread is about EQ's, and you brought up communism!

Everything rattles. That was the biggest quake i've ever been in. Went on for like a minute.

Most of the tremors i've been through are over so quick. Afterwards, you wonder if that was just a quake. Not with this one...
