Tiger Woods: Former caddy not racist
Golfer Tiger Woods Tuesday addressed a racially-tinged remark made by his former caddy, telling reporters Steve Williams apologized and is not a racist.
"It was a wrong thing to say, something that we both acknowledge," Woods said, speaking at the Lakes Golf Club in Sydney, site of this week's Australian Open, according to his website.
Woods and Williams met earlier in the day, and shook hands after Williams apologized, the website reported.

Tiger was once kicked off the property at Augusta National Golf Course because he was black. He was wearing his street clothes and 'Bob Marley' style knitted bonnet, and the official didn't believe that he was really Tiger Woods. Sports Illustrated magazine reported this, along with Michael Jordan's father being murdered by mobsters when Jordan refused to pay gambling debts. Neither Tiger nor Jordon speak-out...and your source for news doesn't report your opinion to you concerning these things.

I agree, is caddy made a remark, but it was not racist. The use the adjective, "black" does not imply racism as it is used all the time. The Caddy, state something to the effect, I want to kick his black @$$. If he would have said, I want to kick his N-word @$$, then some brows may have raised.

How could the remark possibly be racist when Woods, by his own admission, is not Black? Woods is "Cablanasian"; therefore Williams is only guilty of being 'unenlightened' on matters of race.

Not meaning to split hairs too much, but he didn't say anything about Woods being black. He just said his ass was black. That could be construed as a racial remark, or a remark about his personal hygeine.
