  2. With Apologies To Pearl Jam

    At home
    Drawing pictures
    Of mountain tops
    With him on top
    Lemon yellow sun
    Arms raised in a V
Dead lay in pools of maroon below

    Daddy didn't give attention
To the fact that Mommy didn't care
    King Philip the Wicked
    Ruled his world

Philip spoke on the blogs today
Philip spoke on the blogs today

    Clearly I remember
    Pickin' on the boy
    Seemed a harmless little f*@k
    But we unleashed a lion
    Gnashed his teeth
And bit the recess lady's bre*st
    How could I forget
He hit me with a surprise left
    My jaw left hurting
    Dropped wide open
    Just like the day
    Like the day I heard

    Daddy didn't give affection
And the boy was something that Mommy wouldn't wear
    King Philip the Wicked
    Ruled his world

Philip spoke on the blogs today

    Try to forget this...
    Try to erase this...
    From the blackboard.

Herman Cain is done. He did not answer why the women were paid.
Glad to see we are keeping our eye on the stars.
Solyndra and Fast and furious need to be addressed.
If they start bringing our boys home I thought the pay grade would go down and we could save some money.
I think the dinner will be interesting, two of the lowest polled and I am sure VP Biden will try to be nice.
Perry, Cain, Santorum , and Newt will be distant memories soon. I never hear of Paul saying anything?

Cain can play the angry, indignant victim-man all he wants, but he had some explaining to do, which he didn't.

    Gung hoe:
The democratic party would be more than delighted to have Herman Cain go head-to-head with Obama. It would insure a landslide.
I am talking straight politics here, not name-calling.

    @BtBC:
Yeah, I saw that! I'm sure I'll be blamed, I usually do.
I wouldn't sully such a great song, though.
I need more alt/rock; they changed my alternative station to *gasp* talk radio...

    @gung hoe:

I am more centrist than anything, as you should already be aware of.
I am also a realist, no delusions for me!

If there was a more viable candidate than the current POTUS, I would cross party lines in a second. (I'm registered as an independent, anyway)

Read that last sentence again, will you, dear?

I am beholden to no party.

I would love to see a debate between the two.
It won't happen, however, because Herman Cain isn't going to get the nomination.

My feelings wouldn't get hurt; if there were a debate and I thought Cain clearly won, I would say that.

    I like you too, Herman.

    @gung hoe:
Yes, one time. Bad Ronald. Because I disliked Jimmy Carter as a candidate.
Turns out I disliked Bad Ronald even more.
I didn't vote for him a second term.
