Man arrested in probe of White House bullets

Authorities have arrested a man who allegedly was involved in a shooting incident that may be responsible for two bullets found this week at the White House, the U.S. Secret Service said.

Police arrested Oscar Ramiro Ortega-Hernandez near Indiana, Pennsylvania, the U.S. Secret Service said. Authorities say they believe he was involved in a shooting that happened near the White House in Washington, D.C., on Friday night.

Two bullets were found Tuesday, including one that hit an exterior White House window and was stopped by bulletproof glass, and another found on the White House exterior.

Ortega-Hernandez is in the custody of the Pennsylvania State Police.

Odd, nothing about him being an Occupy protester. Gees, now why would they omit that? Maybe going forward just go with, "The Most Trusted Name in Misinformation." It'd be so much more accurate.

I doubt it. He may have been some kook in the guise of an Occupy Protestor, but the real protestors do no advocate violence, despite what you heard on Fox news.

Studies show that those that watch Fox News are, by far, the most misinformed... Perhaps you should go over there, instead.

oh and btw thats not from fox news lol and give me a break, all major networks (cnn) included are biased, u have to take that into account when distinguishing fact from fiction, i doubt he was a protester as well since most of them would favor mr obamas socialist views. point being, news networks have a purpose and the purpose is to MAKE MONEY, dont believe everything you are told

If he was born in Kenya he had an American mother. Much more than Romney's father which would make Mitt suspect. I mean after all Romney's grand dad got mad cause he couldn't have as many wives as he wanted, moved to Mexico gave up his citizenship and then George romney was born in Mexico of Mexican parents. And by the way he never applied for citizenship. At least Stanley Ann Dunham Obama was an American citizen and BOTH OF HER PARENTS WERE AMERICAN CITIZENS.

GREAT- CNN anchor women are suggesting that the white house snipers should have prevented this.
Well, CNN, the snipers are not the primary security force for the entire WH area, and, CNN, snipers can't
keep every visitor to the area in the sniper cross-hairs.. they would probably be used in the worst-case scenarios only.
The place is crawling with security usually and CNN anchors search for provacative ridiculous questions, they probably get bonuses for going out on a limb and ask stupid questions to be more sensational.. but the women are truly beautiful

He needs a speedy, fair trial and IF convicted, made an example of via a severe long term prison term. We have free speach, NOT the freedom to be violent. We are not an uneducated siciety as much of the the Middle East is, We Are Americans where even the crappy education many choose to turn away from still teaches the children that violence is wrong. Hopefully the masses can put forth their messasge without this sort of violence continuing. Protesters must root out these sort of people or everyone's messages will fall on deaf ears.

      Rogelio,
This is for you, "a sharp, bitter, or cutting expression or remark; a bitter jibe or taunt.” [1] Though irony and understatement is usually the immediate context,[2] most authorities distinguish sarcasm from irony;[3] however, others argue that sarcasm may or often does involve irony[4] or employs ambivalence".

      That is all.
