At least 20 bodies found in western Mexico

Authorities found more than 20 bodies inside three abandoned vehicles in Guadalajara, Mexico, Thursday, state media reported.

The vehicles were discovered near a monument on one of the city's main avenues, the state-run Notimex news agency said, citing police sources.

Officials did not release the exact number of bodies found Thursday morning.

Jalisco state Attorney General Tomas Coronado Olmos told CNN affiliate TV Azteca that a message was found with the bodies, but he did not disclose what it said.

Hmm, why can"t Cnn just update this story? You know, just like we post comments and this board 'up-dates' our comments. Don't get it. It's wasted space when you post the same story twice.

more on this in mexico cnn. voy a guadalahara regularly. this is very unusual for this large and surprising peaceful city. the locals never experience this sort of thing. still alot of unanswered questions about why the trucks were just abandoned with bodies. normally the cartels just dump the bodies. sad the violence these people endure around them. its time the usa goes in and cleans out the cartels and installs a legitimate government. why not? they do it i the middle east. in the end it would benefit us. just my opinion.

Just so you know. The U.S government has good relations with these cartels. We supply them weapons and we take out rival cartels for them. Why would we attack our business partners?

Injustice, do you have verifiable proof of the US siding with these cartels for business purposes, or is this presumption on your part? Usually, deals done, are done as a trade over larger fish to fry, if you catch my drift.

I suggest you read, Shadow World by Andrew Feinstein. Also we captured one of the heads of these cartels who admits to it. Then we have the news story where we admit to selling weapons to the cartels, among other things. I would never make such an outlandish claim without knowing the facts.

The U.S. should constuct the biggest barrier right across the entire U.S. – Mexico frontier. Electrify it, and make it go down under the ground 100ft.

Too bad the Chinese could not have electrified the Great Wall and the French the Maginot Line. Then they would have worked.

No mystery or "news" on this ongoing nonsense. It's MEXICO, our third-world neighbor to the south that somehow we try to elevate to "civilized" status! Just like the religious/tribal wars we insist on getting into in the middle east, we need to remember that Mexico is a primitive culture now riddled with drug interests which prey on the peasantry there to fill the endless drug hunger here in the U.S. These are the same grunt-labor that we let drift across the border to make anchor babies and soak up our help programs designed for poor/disadvantaged/disabled CITIZENS! We can't seem to get it right somehow.

Ever use aspirin numb nuts? Do you drink beer? Smoke cigarettes? Use pain killers during a medical procedure? Just as I thought, another hypocrite. Besides, god made weed and it's all natural.

There is a world of difference between taking a perfectly legal pharmaceutical to treat a medical condition, and taking something illegal to dull your mind and become a leech on society. God made plenty of other natural plants, various poison berries and mushrooms. Do you plan on gobbling a few of those down? They're natural, so they must be good.

yeah, that'll do it, just invade and regime change, we do it everywhere else, got plenty practice, but how do you attack mexico when this country has already been invaded by 12 million ill – eagle immigrants, a lot but not all are latino. Why not just give them their country back, after alll america did steal it thru the so-called spanish american war. Pretty soon the dollar will be just like the peso, ever seen a peso Bingo, it got a hole in it.

We could also just nuke the cartels and bring our primitive ways to Mexico, not that there's enough "primitive" in Mexico to begin with.
