10:00 am ET - U.S. Capitol Christmas Tree arrival - Thanksgiving has come and gone, so bring on Christmas!  Capitol Hill welcomes a 65-foot Sierra white fir this morning.

12:15 pm ET - White House briefing - The situation in Egypt, the deficit and spending will likely dominate Jay Carney's agenda with the White House press corps.

1:00 pm ET - Senate back in session - Thanksgiving break is done for the U.S. Senate, and lawmakers return to Capitol Hill to debate defense spending and other issues.

7:00 pm ET - Gingrich town hall - Surging in recent polls, GOP presidential candidate Newt Gingrich looks to continue his momentum in Charleston, South Carolina, where he participates in a town hall-style meeting.

    what i would like to know, is when are we going to be the United States. and not put up with the cynical bull thats is plauguizing our country? where is the pledge of alliegence at the debates? where is the pledge of alliegence in our schools??? now that our country has allowed muslims and hhispanics into the US. things have been drastically changing. Federal courts allowing new districts in Texas so the hhispanic has a voice. allowing teachers in Texas, California and other southern states to teach the mexican pledge and national anthems..
