Arrest made in Georgia girl's killing
[Updated at 2:59 p.m. ET] Information from the public led to the arrest of a suspect in the sexual assault and slaying of a 7-year-old Georgia girl, police said Wednesday.
Authorities said Brian Brunn, an employee of the apartment complex where victim Jorelys Rivera lived in Canton, Georgia, was arrested Wednesday.
Rivera's body was found earlier this week in a trash bin outside the apartment complex, three days after she was reported missing. Authorities have said that she died of blunt force trauma to the head, was stabbed and had been sexually assaulted.
"(Brunn) was well known in the apartment complex because he was employed there," said Vernon Keenan, head of the Georgia Bureau of Investigation. "This investigation will continue on for several months. This is mammoth case. We believe that this horrendous crime was planned and calculated."

The guy is twenty years old.
He must be psychotic to think he could get by with that crime.
He deserves more then the death penalty...he needs to be tortured more then what he did to the little girl(maybe,others)then some...my prayers goes out to the family & friends...god bless all of you..

He had plan A, but when she resisted, started screaming, etc, it all went out the window.
I wager she knew him, went with him to see a puppy or something. He started assaulting her. She resisted and was gonna go tell. He tried to knock her out, failed, she wouldn't shut up so he stabbed her. Sick p r i c k.

I'll bet if they do a brain scan of this filth they'll find his frontal lobes don't work so good. Then they can skin him alive and roll him in salt even though it won't bring the girl back it'll at least give all us bloodthirsty vengeance-wolves a little satisfaction. I was so angry and sad that this sort of thing happens so often all over the world that I fail to see why we should let people like him live in prison at great expense when there doesn't seem to be much need for that kind of mercy in view of all that goes on around here.
@venting: actually, it's cheaper to keep them than kill them. And governments shouldn't kill there own people.. I'm sure a ritualistic state-sanctioned murdering of him would be much more merciful than anything his prison buddies might dream up. Death is to good for him..

Wow im surprised it wasnt one of the occupy protesters.couldntve been cuz he had a job.
This is sorta off the wall but dang it just makes me wonder what the heck happened to this young man to make him or any of them do this kind of stuff. The ones who took my wife were under 20. Dont take this wrong they deserve punishment and I am all for whatever they get. Just thinking out loud. To be so young and so full of evil ~
