Russian billionaire to run against Putin
Russian billionaire Mikhail Prokhorov - the owner of the New Jersey Nets basketball team and one of the world's richest men - said Monday that he will run for president of Russia next year.
Calling his decision to run for president "probably the most important decision of my life," he acknowledged the risks of challenging Russia's rulers.
"There is saying in Russia: Never say never, anyone can end up behind bars. But I am not afraid," he said in a press conference in Moscow.
Prokhorov, 45, is worth $18 billion, Forbes estimated in March, making him Russia's third richest man.

He may be the third richest man in Russia, but Putin is the first two all by himself. Unless he will be Putin's puppet he either won't win, will wind up in jail, or will be killed in an "accident" of some sort.

The whole "Putin take" y'all are presenting is pretty entertertaining, in a dark comedy fashion! I'm finding a darker comedy underneath! Billionaires are taking over the world y'all! We certainly have Our share of millionaires buying their ways into a government position! Because make no mistake, they are for sale to the highest or most sneaky bidder! Blago just got caught! This is why OWS is worldwide! The widening gap between rich & poor is happening everywhere & huge corperations have monopoly on $, jobs, our supposed representatives, the very landscape of the global economy! As we know it's been looking pretty bleak for a while! I hope some working class Russian w/the backing of the people, runs against both of these "posers!"
