Senate leaders propose 2-month extension of payroll tax cut

Senate negotiators were unable to work out a comprehensive deal on extending the payroll tax cut and instead are proposing a two-month extension, two sources told CNN on Friday.

The possible deal still needs approval from the full caucuses of both parties, which are meeting Friday evening.

Um, leave it to a Congress who can't agree on anything, unless it benefits *them*, no matter what party they belong to.

@murphy, lets leave it to the republicpunks to sort it out remember bush he and his daddy got us into this mess in the first place!! War war war. And its always in an already war torn country lets not forget the oil to! Neither party can seem to agree to nothing anymore a guess if they were to both push the buttons at the same time they would blame each other for starting the war

funny how people have said this about other Governments. Another Government is not the solution, they are still human men. Gods Government is what we should be asking for. Oh well that's my 'two cents' 🙂
