Suicide bomber targets Iraqi interior ministry compound

Baghdad (CNN) - A suicide car bomber struck a security checkpoint at the main entrance to Iraq's interior ministry compound in central Baghdad Monday, killing at least two people and wounding six others, police said.

The attack follows a weekend meeting between Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki and senior security officials to review last week's deadly bombings that killed almost 70 people and wounded more than 200. The string of 20 explosions came just days after the final U.S. troops withdrew.

Al-Maliki said at that session that security and stability must be the country's top priorities.

  4. WW2 Kamikazee Mitsubishi Zero fighterplane pilot

DURING world War Two, after the proximity fuse* was developed and implemented, enemy fighterplane pilots resorted to suicide bombings of US warzhips. Big deal car bomb. (* the proximity fuse was a device that allowed for errant anti-aircraft fire to take-out a Mitsubishi model Zero in Kamikazee mode. If you even got close to aiming at the divenomber, you hit him. The proximity fuse won WW2 in the Pacific. Write that down so you don't forget.

  6. Lay's brand potato chips

And let's not forget that all of the atrocities we see occuring throughout the world where we see one human attacking another are the result of human endeavor. The factory worker cranking-out that M-16 assault rifle enjoys Lay's brand products. Original baked chips are my fav 🙂

Let's fact it...this is life as usual for these folks! The news stories tell the story every day of a culture that simply loves violence and it's all in the name of their religion or tribal issues. Iraq will never be "like us" in any sense of the word, not in ten lifetimes!!. These bickering tribes and religious zealots live for this stuff. The reason these places ultimately need to have have dictators over them is to try to keep some kind of order; we're premature in trying to force democracy on them.

And don't forget: before WWII, Jay's Potato Chips were called Jap's Potato Chips.
Changed for obvious reasons; none of which has anything to do with a suicide bomber targeting Iraqi interior ministry compound.
    But what they hey.
