Egyptian court rules against virginity tests

An Egyptian administrative court has issued an order banning virginity tests for female detainees, months after furor over such examinations on women arrested following protests in Cairo's Tahrir Square.

The ruling comes in the case of a woman who sued Egypt's military led-government over the practice.

In March, the human rights group Amnesty International reported that Egyptian troops beat, shocked and strip-searched women arrested during a March 9 protest in Cairo and forced them to submit to virginity tests.

CNN really, *really*needs to get their act together and do something about this thread.
The more I read on these boads, the less I am inclined to take their news organization seriously.

TCR C2, they are talking about raype abuse, not anything else.
Get your mind out of the gutter.

    Dear CNN:

Your boards are the biggest joke in blogdom.

Your “report abuse” button is apparently disabled, because nothing is ever done about the vitriolic and disgusting garbage that is posted here.

These boards are now know as a safe haven for schoolchildren trolls who like potty humor.

Please post a thread about feces and fetish s*e*x, because that is all that is ever posted anymore anyway.

Perhaps this way, they will post on that thread, and leave the serious posters here alone.

The contempt that CNN shows its readers and posters by not moderating this blog is reprehensible.

@RUFFNUTT You sir have posted a very good question. I find it would be scientifically and biologically very difficult to verify, since man was not born with a physical hymen like women have been.
