Cyclone pummels eastern Indian coast, kills six

At least six people were killed after a cyclone pummeled India's southeastern coastline Friday, bringing high winds and rain, officials said.

Coastal districts in the states of Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu and in the territory of Puducherry were on high alert as the cyclone approached.

The deaths were reported in the Cuddalore district of Tamil Nadu, where meteorologists reported winds gusting at between 75 and 87 miles per hour.

    Lol. When I first read the ti tle it reminded me of a cyclops! I had this picture in my head of a giant cyclops stomping around, pummeling people in India, like in an old horror movie.

    No i cannot melt right now its about -20 where im at and bivied on a narrow ledge trying to stay warm i little bit chilly ive had worse but im getting ready to eat top ramen noodles with chille powder and than dreak out the pre cooked smoked halibet . So no to your comment at 13,000 feet its nice man only for the strong willed in such a sport

    Thats a good one about a cyclops i remember that movie to im geting stove starting to eat ahhhh some nice warm tea from india yummy ! Theres the m&ms and the cashews a feast for a king

Dont want to burst your ducky my friend but the choppers cannot fly in this weather that i was in tis morning but its cool to talk to another person , celebrating summit back at low camp where left tent yesterday l shots of yeagermeifter and bacon and eggs rest for good part of day in sunshine and slowly pack up and head back to whitney portal
