Today's programming highlights...

7:30 am ET - Huntsman on the campaign trail - While the other major GOP presidential candidates are in Iowa, Jon Huntsman continues campaigning in New Hampshire.  He addresses a Rotary meeting in Bow, New Hampshire.

8:00 am ET - Gingrich's Iowa bus tour - GOP hopeful Newt Gingrich continues his bus tour of Iowa with a stop at a restaurant and social club in Des Moines.   He'll also make stops at Creston at 6:00 pm ET and Shenandoah at 9:00 pm ET.

9:05 am ET - Christie campaigns for Romney - New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie will appear with GOP candidate Mitt Romney at a campaign event in West Des Moines, Iowa.  Christie and Ann Romney will later campaign in Cedar Rapids at 2:00 pm ET.

2:15 pm ET - Wall Street sings out 2011 - In a tradition spanning decades, Wall Street traders sing "Wait Til the Sun Shines Nellie" to close out 2011.

3:45 pm ET - Perry's Iowa meet and greet - Gov. Rick Perry talks with potential caucus voters at a restaurant in Waverly, Iowa.

4:00 pm ET - Paul's Iowa town hall - GOP presidential candidate Rep. Ron Paul hosts a town hall-style meeting in Sioux Center, Iowa.

4:00 pm ET - Santorum's football party - Are you ready for Rick Santorum and football?  The GOP hopeful hosts a watch party for college football's Pinstripe Bowl in Ames, Iowa.

    I know that the Iowa caucus is on the mind of many. But let's just fast forward past the election. I predict that President Obama will win re-election.

    Obama in 2012. Yep more likely than not. I just got diagnosed with diabetes. I'm scared.

      I'm can imagine that you must be scared. Please follow the 'diet' that your doctor gives you. That will help tremendously.

    Ron Paul vs the Chicken Hawk neocon war-mongers! Ron Paul is pro-freedom, pro-peace, pro-life, pro-right-to-bear-arms and anti-NYC-bankster bailouts. For those positions, the GOP and Media attack him relentlessly. They would rather see Obama win than a pro-freedom and pro-peace person. They cast blame on anyone who supports Ron Paul; shame on those that demonize supports of a true and honest person. I am a military veteran and my hope is with the great people of Iowa.

    On New Years my family and I will eat ham and all the fixings. We will watch movies and play board games. We will watch AC and KG too. We are going to have a great New Years. Life is not about money. It's about love. I love my family.

    @ jazzzzz diabetes is easily controlled now, just listen to ur dr and follow everything he says. Some people live long and fulfilled lives with it. But im wishing you all the best and if ever you want i have some awesome diabetic recipes! 🙂

    @ 400 you go into a coma so ALWAYS monitor it. Also they have dogs now trained to know your levil changing before you know. Good luck fake or real jazzzz! And god bless you!

    and jazzzz alot of diabetic patients can take the pills for awhile and eventually be able to go off them and keep it under controll with diet alone. keep the faith!

    And i alsmn will vote for OBAMA and believe he will win another term for POTUS, but and even tho they are different parties i think he could learn alot from Ron Paul! He does have some wonderful ideas on increasing the economy!
