Not-guilty plea in Indiana girl's slaying
A man accused of killing a 9-year-old Indiana girl with a brick and dismembering her body with a hacksaw made an initial appearance in a Fort Wayne, Indiana, court Wednesday.
Michael Plumadore, 39, faces one count each of murder, abuse of a corpse and moving a body from the scene of a crime in the killing of Aliahna Lemmon.
Plumadore pleaded not guilty at the hearing, said Robyn Niedzwiecki of the Allen County prosecutor's office. His next court hearing was set for January 18, and a public defender will be appointed to represent him.

That's what criminals do, Plead not guilty on the recommendations of lawyers. You certainly can't make a plea deal by pleading (out) guilty.
Start castrating these wastes of skin and maybe they'll think twice about harming kids. Then again they have no conscience so that probably wouldn't deter some of these maniacs.
Not guilty by'reason' of insanity?

Most judges enter a plea of non-guilty in for a criminal until the criminal can contact legal counsel. He was likely advised to do this by the Court.

Big loser this guy is fry his a#s if hes found guilty i wouldnt even waste my time chopping him up it takes to much time just over dose him on narcotics to where it wont kill him and than dose him with some strong acid on a continuos basis until he has no brain cells left
this man is sick and evil. i hope he ends up convicted and gets the death penalty. and does it bother anyone else that this girl's mother just left her and her sisters with this man because she had the flu? i don't care how good of a "family friend" he was you don't send little girls to stay with some neighbor guy because you're not feeling well.

It doesn't really matter what he pleads. There is significant evidence against him. He will at the least be locked away for a long time.
