I wish all five republican presidential candidates could win the nomination and run against Obama. He'll beat the panths off of them hands down any which way you look at it. And say what you want about Obama but the reality is that the opposition has scrutinized him for not doing this and of not doing that or of doing too much of this and too much of that but no one has ethically or objectively bothered to take into consideration what this President has inherited. And wouldn't Obama have accomplished a whole lot more if the slate was clean when he took over the Presidency? And what has the mainstream media said in three years about the mess Obama has inherited? Absolutely nothing! And what has the mainstream media said about the constant roadblocks by the rightwing leadership in congress? Absolutely nothing! So you really believe the republicans have anything of substance to offer the American people? I don't think so.

The people have Ron Paul to give. Below, I've posted a short history for people to see what a TRUE honest candidate stands for.

Who cares? Let them all win! Then they can all become President and go to the White House and join President Obama!

Just imagine a half-dozen religious Presidents all ruling this pluralistic theocracy we have now!
Surely they could get more things done if there were more of them! And they can just say whatever they want.
Laws don't matter anymore! Everyone is free to express their religion any way they want!
The Supreme Court said so! Feel free to break a law today! Do it as an expression of your religion and its OKAY!!!!
YAY THEOCRACY! LAWS DON"T MATTER ANYMORE!

I'd just like to say that I've never voted in a presidential election before but I'm not the only 1st timer on board with Ron Paul. No Ron Paul means it's REALLY over for this more fragile than ever country. Please don't be mistaken. 1st timer does not mean unknowing. Talk to me....

Regarding today's news report on former MS Governor Haley Barbour :

Why am I not surprised? Former Gov. Haley Barbour is an extreme right-wing radicalized Republican. Mississippi is a "Red" State. The people of Mississippi are not well-educated enough to know what goes on behind closed doors. If they only knew how much BIG, FAT REPUBLICAN $$$$ Former Gov. Haley Barbour amassed for pardoning or granting clemency before leaving office, maybe, and ONLY MAYBE then Mississippi would wake up and realize, along with all those other "Red" states just how CROOKED OUR POLITICIANS REALLY ARE !!!!

Oh and BTW, I am neither a right-wing radicalized Republican nor a left-wing liberal Democrat. I am registered solely as an Independent. I only wish former Governor of the great state of Minnesota, and former decorated US Navy SEAL, Jesse Ventura, were running for Commander in Chief.

Jesse would be the only one to get this nation back on track !!!!

I like Jesse Ventura but as a wrestler or an actor. He was outstanding in Predator. But as President? That's scary because who is to say he won't put someone in a choke hole if things didn't go his way in congress? Mr. Ventura as President? No, too scary though he's a good man.

Unless some mystery Independent candidate pitched in, I still think Obama is our only hope...for now.

But I would still take some cautious considerations about who that person really is if such a candidate existed.

As a 1st timer, I don't see how anyone else can be chosen. Change has happened for the better. IMO Ron Paul is our last chance before a financial collapse and complete chaos.

@revnow- But you have looked past what he sid he would do. He will disban the EPA (The foxes will dump in our rivers streams and air will not be regulated with any enforcement) He will disban the Education depy.( the dumbing down and no regulation enforcers for schools)
He wants to repeal the regulation for Wallstreet. Repeal the sarbanes -Oxley act of 2002 that regulates corporate governance law passed i response to corporate scandals like Enron.
Faze out SS., Medicare and other safe-net programs for the middle class and young workers could opt out.
Wants to run state and federal healthcare thru state block grants. (Here is some money when it runs out middle class is SOL.

I'm new to this but IMO if this is the worst that comes from Ron Paul then we should rejoice. Besides, it has't hurt so far has it? I think this is why noone wants (and smartly so) to get into a character fight with Paul. I'd be like fighting Tyson in the 80's.....1st round k.o. I think the people are really tired of being run by big biz and nobody can buy Paul. He's a snowball at the top of the hill and he's about to be pushed off.

I noticed that too BOMBO, right after i noticed i was trolled. It was disgusting in any case what the MARINES did and then made worse by advertising their obvious lack of good judgement! Another reason these people dont trust us. What if it were reversed?

Ron Paul wants US to be able to view audits of the Federal Reserve System located inside of our borders that have been made by The Bank for International Settlements located in Basel Switzerland. No way they'll let him win no matter how many vote for him.
