(CNN) - The United States on Friday warned its citizens in Thailand of the possibility of imminent terrorist attacks in busy tourist areas of Bangkok.
"U.S. citizens are urged to exercise caution when visiting public areas where large groups of Western tourists gather in Bangkok," a statement on the website of the U.S. Embassy in Bangkok said.
"Foreign terrorists" may be planning attacks "in the near future," the statement said. The embassy did not provide any further information on the source of the threat.

So just what does one do, exactly, when warned of the "possibility of an imminent terrorist attack" while on foreign soil? Walk around prepared to duck? Dust off the bullet-proof vest? Develop a permanent crouched walking style? Leave the country? Stay 'home'?
The biggest danger in that town is the rampant STD plague.
I know i would be getting the heck outta there but quick! No question in my mind.
So...I am not sure how to respond to the words "possibility and imminent" Hmmm..... could be my I.Q. is way too high for this garbage translation. But I'm in Bangkok, and I don;t travel around too much downtown anyway! Peace!
