Body parts found in Hollywood hills identified

The Los Angeles County coroner's office has identified the man whose severed head, hands and feet were found in the Hollywood hills this week, but his name isn't being released, Deputy Chief Coroner Ed Winter said.

The body parts were found Tuesday, when two people noticed their dogs dragging a plastic grocery bag with the head inside from a bush near a dirt trail, police said.

Winter said this week that the head is that of a man between 40 and 60 years old, with salt-and-pepper-colored hair.

    I'm good B. Don't get to hit the blogs as much, but I'm here when I can. I do read the comments regularly though. By the way, could someone explain to me the rational behind posting a blog without a section for comments? I must have cut class that day.

      They might have cloded the blog because of trolls, BWS.
      Who knows?

      @JIF
      Awfully good stage props, since they identified the man from the sever hand's fingerprints.

      From your postings I'm guessing you cut a hell of a lot of classes. Besides lacking intelligence, it appears you live a lonely life. Have a little respect. Does it cross your mind that a family member or friend of this man might be reading this article?

      @Lynn-relax LYNN, did it occur to you that they dont know the person who body parts it is yet, so its tough for the family to read this at this point dont you agree?

      Well, Martin, I appreciate the thought behind it. But if you read the article, they haven't released the name yet. I'm sure that's pending notification or possibly due to investigation? Who knows, but I highly doubt they're reading the article right now; especially with the knowledge that this is someone they know. Further, it's the internet. I mean if you look at any story...ANY story on this or any other website there are people who will offend you. It's what happens when people have anonymity. That being said, I didn't think it was that offensive. Lighten up.

    That could have been a bag of stage props that was found.
    A tenor friend of mine was singing in a run of an opera opposite a very uncooperative soprano who kept making trouble for him on stage.
    At one point in the staging, he was supposed to lure her into a little boat house for romantic purposes.
    My tenor friend got a stage prop, a dismembered human leg, and put it on the floor of the boathouse, partially covered by a blanket.
    During a performance, he seductively leg her offstage into the boathouse. There was a period with no singing when the audience was expected to speculate on what was happening in the little house.
    As soon as the two were in the house, the tenor feigned surprise and pointed to the leg.
    The soprano screamed.
