    Glaucon:
Yes, he said, I think that he would rather suffer anything than entertain these false notions and live in this miserable manner.

HE, representing those true followers of God.
False notions representing false Gods, false religion, false one world order.

That's how I viewed this rendition of Socrates. Would that be in the relm of the meaning ?

Third State of the Union? Address this: The federal budget for the next two fiscal years has already been expended. How could this of happened? Where did the money go? Where is the money going to come from for the next two years?

Third State of the Union? Address this: Yeah yeah...your only one man. You've have the finest minds working for you. Why can't you make a concerted effort for both sides of the aisle, to come up with answers?

Third State of the Union? Address this: The government redistributes wealth. The government takes away wealth. Where in the world did you think the government could "create wealth"?

@Jeeff Frank. You've drawn some obvious conclusions concerning the "one man" and his host of confidants. Have you concluded in your mind exactly why it is that president Obama refuses to even discuss auditing the Fed/central banks doing business in the USA. I think that it's funnier than all get-out that Ron Paul's platform (auditing the fed for the first time ever) is something the others don't even wish to discuss, let alone do. ha ha?

...I'm thinking Michael Fury's story is about American religion. (religion def. 'form of worship') Our national form (nationwide obesity epidemic/borderline pandemic) resembles Buddha more than Jesus. Does one not try to look like his favorite idol? Even wearing his jersey number?

...take the mulsim religion, for example. The muslim holy book, The Koran, quotes Allah as saying "Slay the invading infidels wherever you find them. Fighting is obligatory for you." Whereas the americanized version insists that it's perfectly ok for a muslim living in the US to join with the infidels and actually assist in the invading of muslim lands and the taking of muslim life. The Koran identifies this brand of muslim as a "renegade muslim", and commands true muslims to "deal harshly with them.", just as any would for a 'Benedict Arnold' turncoat.

    @ Buona Sera' Wine Bar:
Undoubtedly your interpretation of the Socrates/Glacon dialogue has validity: Socrates was widely known to be a devout Christian.

@ Philip, Or maybe this could be attributed to Matthew 7:14 "where as narrow is the gate and cramped the road leading off into life, and few are the ones finding it." What say you?

Jeff Frank's 9:16 AM post is entirely too rational to gain wide acceptance.

Occasionally, one finds an in-the-style-of post that speaks well for the hijacked writer.
I have sometimes been cleverly hijacked.
I am gratified that the trolls feel that way about me.

@Wine Bar. Hmmm, you sound familiar. You seem to be cramming my own words down my throat. he he. Very narrow road. Indeed, cramped. You can hardly find a good man anymore. Most of them are so small. Women? That's why I want them to return to their natural weight. So more of them can fit on that narrow road. I'm tired of being crowded-off. 🙂

Hijackers do add a little pepper to our salt, Joey. As does CNN flavor our words. I can't imagine how big of a horses ass I would appear to be if not for so many of my posts being deleted. Thanks Nicole Saidi and Co. 😉
