3 killed in attack in Afghanistan

Three people were killed and at least 30 injured after an explosion near the compound of a governor in the city of Lashkar Gah in Afghanistan Thursday, authorities said.

The area was being protected by British soldiers and three of those soldiers were wounded in that attack, a spokeswoman with the British military said.

A car bomb caused the blast and the target appeared to be an armored vehicle driven by foreigners, said Daoud Ahmadi, a spokesman for the governor.

Ok. 3 killed in Afghanistan during the past 24 hrs. How many Americans were murdered by fellow Americans during this same time period? Anyone have any idea?

Continuing widespread violence throughout the USA has led to the murder of 45 American citizens today, that countries daily average. Authorities suspect fellow Americans as being the culprits.

@Free Speech....it is perfectly legal for CNN to edit at will and for any reason. Just as it is perfectly legal for the NBA and NASCAR to determine the outcomes of their own sporting events. For example, it's perfectlly leagal for the NBA's commisioner to order a referee to throw the game...make calls that help the eventual winner. This has been well established in US court cases where people sued the NBA for doing this, and lost in court. (read the book "the Fix is in")
