Sandusky asks judge to let him visit with his grandchildren

(CNN) - Despite being accused of child sex abuse, Jerry Sandusky is asking a judge to modify the terms of his bail so he can see his grandchildren, according to court documents.

Sandusky, a former Penn State assistant football coach, was charged in November with sexually abusing young boys over a 14-year period. Prosecutors contend he met many of the boys through his charity, The Second Mile.

Sandusky, who has pleaded innocent, was released on a $100,000 bail in November and barred by a Pennsylvania judge from having unsupervised visits with his grandchildren. The judge also prohibited the children from staying overnight at Sandusky's home.

I coached a youth team years ago...The World Famous Broadmoor Bombers. I couldn't imagine tring to coach those kids with an assistant coach who lusted for them. I would have called the cops just like I did when I was 15. (after suffering child abuse and becoming aware of the fact that if i didn't, nobody would) And yes, anyone who was rayped or knows of a raype and fails to call the cops is in fact an accomplice, keeping the door open for the perpetrator to raype again and again, in fact enablong him to do so.

*enabling (never has their been an abuser without an enabler. If everyone called the cops for each and every rayoe, onviously there would be fewer raypes. Each unreported case serves the perpetrator, NOT JUSTICE. um, duh.

Paterno could have dies from being run over by a truck. The actual cause of his death is besides the point. He died. The wages sin pays is death. Paterno is all paid up. The rest of us are still owing. (and i'm more interested in picking Mrs. Sandusky's brain than if kids visit grandpa. It was the man whom she was having an affair with(a man whom when he was a boy Jerry Sandusky had rayped) that blew this story wide- open when he secretly recordered her chatting about her hubby's boy raypeings. Betcha didn't know that, or did, and didn't say.

    Paterno:
    He was 85.
    He had cancer.
    He died.
    The end.

And certainly find out what the Mrs. Sandusky knew...and why the man she was having an affair with that was rayped by Jerry when he was a boy didn't come forward either.
He could have prevented countless other boys being rayped by this monster...he knew what it was like...

Sandusky needs to stay away from children...all children...whether he is related to them or not.
Those are the terms of his bail, and they are terms of good sense.

No one can really know what sets a predator off, ...better safe than sorry.

    He can use Skype.
I said this yesterday, if it is good enough for our armed forces, it is certainly good enough for Jerry Sandusky.
Pity is not en emotion that should be wasted on him.

Paterno failed to protect those young men. All he did was inform penn State superiors in 2002, who already knew anyway, for Sandusky had already been reported previously. Paterno dies, his superiors, who kept it a secret among themselves, are still alive and still need to be dealt with. Knowing of child abuse and failing to report it is a violation of law in most anyone's book. Individuals who are rayped and fail to alert the police arre part and parcel too the problem. They, just like Penn State, place their own personal needs for privacy above the publics need to know. There own personal embarrassment is of more importance than catching the raypist who, thanks to the tight-lips, raypes on and on and on. Wtg all of you who know of or have experienced raype but have no police report to prove it. You all suck bigtime.

Until one learns how the university protocol goes, and until this kind of mentality is changed, the Univerisity Police will take presidence over the town police.
A little separate country all of it's own, with it's own little rules and regulations.
When one calls the town police on a University crime, the town police will not do anything about it, and instead hands it over to the University police...which is part of the problem overall.
Joe Paterno did what he was required to do, by the law that was available at the time
    Was it morally enough?
No, I don't think so, but then it's OPINION, isn't it...and the man was unfairly targeted when it was Sandusky (and wife) who should be tarred and feathered.
Joe Paterno didn't drop the ball, the Uni police did....and so on and so on.

    And Mrs. Sandusky's lover?
Shouldn't he be just as tarred and feathered, painted by the same brush of hatred as JoePa?

The person who deserves the hatred the most is SANDUSKY, who ABSOLUTELY should not be able to visit his grandchildren. At all. For any reasons. Period.

And all the people who don't have police repostrs...that includes EVERY person. EVERY one.
    WTG. You suck, too.
