Protesters vow to stand their ground at Occupy DC camp

Protesters occupying two Washington parks say they will stand their ground if National Park Service police come calling Monday to enforce a law against camping.

"I'm going to do the best I can to stay here," said Emily Margaret, who has been staying at Occupy DC's McPherson Park camp. "If they want to arrest me, they can."

A noon Monday deadline for protesters to remove camping gear from the McPherson Park and Freedom Plaza came and went with no immediate move by police.

John Kerry vowed to stand his ground vs. Geo. Bush too, and we all saw how he folded like a cheap table. Maybe these OWS protesters are a different breed. Hope so.

@President Obama...audit the Fed already. That's all it would take to end this OWS madness. At least explain to US why you won't allow the Fed to be audited. Thank you in advance.

Oh, wait. That's right. Does President Obama even have the authority to have the Fed audited for the first time in the history of the Federal Reserve/Central Banking system's history? One would think so, since he had the authority to grant immunity to Israeli MOSSAD militia facing the International Criminal Court for war crimes commited helping Gadhafi slaughter ffaithful muslim citizens labeled as "rebels" in Libya recently. Declare an "State of Emergency" and audit the Fed already. sheesh.

(ahem) Let's see if this one will post. (been trying to fin) Ok....here we go. As you folks were distracted watching Congress "loaning" 580 million of your dollars to your banks, The Federal reserve System/Central Bank's that are NOT your own...were quietly gobbling-up over 3 trillion dollars worth of YOUR property. Your hero BillHillary Clinton did the same thing to Arkansas as YOU were watching OJ "try" to put on a freaking glove. FOCUS PEOPLE. Why hasn't the Fed EVER been audited? If a private outfit gobbled up 3 trillion in property, we would all know who did it, and and how it was done. It would even be discussed on freaking talk shows. Hay "Johnny Carsons!" Take care of this sh/t already.

Check that. 580 BILLION* (that "buzzing noise" mentioned above is the sound of people's heads being pulled out of their proverbial asses. Those who pay attention, that is. It sounded like a loud popping noise years ago...but that's another story)

@citizen. You turned blue. Neato. Greenspan was brilliant and a 1/2 decent man, in my opinion. I'm not sure if he kept the fed in check or if he was just following orders to delay this eventuality. Sengla? Clinton? You got me there. Unless you are refering to those two that got snuffed after eyewitbessing Iran-Contra arms being smuggled out of Mena, Ark. airport whn Bill Was helping his old buddies at the CIA. Bill was an CIA agent at 19 ya know.
