Romney wins Florida primary, CNN projects

Former Massachusetts Gov. Mitt Romney will win Tuesday's Florida primary, CNN projects.

With 60% of polling places reporting, Romney had 48% of the vote, with former House Speaker Newt Gingrich getting 31%. Former Sen. Rick Santorum of Pennsylvania had 13%, and U.S. Rep. Ron Paul of Texas had 7%.

All of the state's polls were closed at 8 p.m. ET. CNN made its projection based on early returns and results of exit polls.

Florida is the fourth contest in the 2012 presidential primary and caucus calendar. Santorum won in Iowa, Romney won New Hampshire and Gingrich won South Carolina.

The Nevada caucuses are next, scheduled for Saturday.

Based on current returns only about 2 million Republicans voted today in Florida, where there are 12 million registered voters. Hard to believe they did not know about the race or forgot to vote. What does this mean for Republicans in November?

More propaganda!! In bold black letters . Some people just dont know about the facts. Its sad to see the ignorance of some in the US . Obviously some one has not traveled abroad. Than you would see how lucky we really are in this great country! If you oppose the government so much than move to syria or iran i worked the oil fields in iran many years ago, and we ARE the luckiest country on the globe

The first rule of predation is attack the weak.
    Gingrich is weak.
Stay tuned to see what the eventual Republican nominee has planned for the poor and middle class in this country.

Romney's win? He won because he has the organization, the people and most of all.... the money. The media hypes this win as unexpected ...What would have been unexpected was a loss!
