Teacher accused of taking elementary student 'bondage' photos

A Los Angeles elementary school teacher allegedly took bondage photos of more than two dozen students in his classroom, including some with suspected semen-filled spoons at their mouths, investigators said Tuesday.

The young students were told they were playing a game and that swallowing the semen, which they believed was liquid candy, was part of that game, Los Angeles County Sheriff's Sgt. Dan Scott told CNN Tuesday.

Mark Berndt, 61, was arrested on child molestation charges at his Torrance, California, home Monday and is being held pending $2.3 million bond in a Los Angeles County jail, according to Sheriff's Lt. Carlos Marquez.

And it took how long and how many kids before charges were brought up? Out of 28 suspected kids, none of them said anything? Another Penn St...

Sick piece of trash. I hope the school is going to have these children tested for diseases and have intense counseling for how ever long it takes to help them cope. Notice I did not say recover.

If we have camer's at street corners, in banks, in our homes, in a supermaket, in vertually every other place but Schools, or even where ever there are organizations that help kids, what does that say about how much we value our children?

Lucky for those of us who search them out, the value has gone WAYYYY down. 😉

Stinky, I don't recall being sworn in as a juror. This is not a courtroom. It's an internet message board.

You will let us know if you ever lose track again of where you are and what you're doing won't you? We'll be glad to help.

Ok, lets try this; let's start putting camera's everywhere a child is. Really, there are just some things that kids should be fiercely protected from.

    This is an abomonation.
    Pure and simple.

Ther are already cameras in our schools.
At least in the schools where I live.
It's a necessity, to protect the students *and* the teachers.
They do not have them in the locker rooms, though, because of obvious reasons...this isn't "Porky's", for heaven's sake.

Teach your children well, and if it is YOU doing these things to your children, then:
1.) May you rot in hell, and
2.) May your children scream as loud to the a person who will listen...and be the first to testify against your nasty ass.

      @Angry Mob:
Ley's take it one step further: what do most of these cases have in common?
      They're all MEN!
Ban men from being around children in all professions.
      No men teachers.
      No men coaches.
No men doctors, dentists, fathers, uncles, the dude who serves fries at Mickeyd's...
      C'mon now...doesn't that sound stooooopid?
Instead of keeping your children closely monitored and having a line of communication open that is more than "clean your room"?

I didn't have my sarcasm font on then, either.
What you hooked was the only person here who CAUGHT the sarcasm. 😉
