This woman left an enduring legacy. What a powerful and beautiful voice. Such a terrible tragedy and loss. I just wish success and stardom didn't lead so many down the path to ruin and untimely death. May she rest in the peace that evaded her these most recent years.

Dunno why everyone's in shock. The drugs ruined her brain, took her voice and now her life. She wanted a "bad boy" for a husband...yeah, he was bad for her. Duh.

The media helped killed her to include CNN. Just last week a negative story of her being broke. Maybe now nothing but love.

That is a real tragedy – what a sad tale of rags to riches to depression and now this. She had one of the most amazing gifts and fame, drugs, abusive realtionships and depression took it all away. Rest in peace
