Cameron hosts talks on football racism

British Prime Minister David Cameron will hold talks at 10 Downing Street on Wednesday to discuss racism in football following several high profile incidents in the English Premier League.

"We simply cannot brush this under the carpet," Cameron said, writing in The Sun newspaper.  "I've no doubt that football will crack this problem — and the Government stands ready to do anything it can to help."

Racism has been in the spotlight after cases involving some of football's most-famous players and figures.

Could this be the end of trash talk in organized sport? Because you can't swear or hurl slurs questioning the person's orientation either. You might offend special interest groups who overhear on field microphones. A few years from now you are going to hear heated exchanges such as "Golly gee you darned guy, be more careful with your elbows. I am questioning your sportsmanship at this juncture."

  3. Alarming Disparity

There is an alarming disparity between the percentage of NFL and NBA players who are white and who are black. Just as there is an alarming disparity between the percentages of black and white people whose sole source of income is welfare. Are the two (pro sports and welfare) connected somehow?

History records even black slave masters breeding their big bucks with fat mammies to produce bigger cottonpickers. Their mutated offspring are today's biggest sports stars. Fire me for recounting history?

Extra big slaves in the Agriculture South makes no sense economically. Bigger clothing, bigger meals etc drive labor costs up. Entire slave economy was based on low maintenance/cost labor. Productivity was measured by the amount ( in lbs) of say
cotton picked, not the size of the picker!

Let us not forget the tribal chiefs who sold their own people into slavery. And let us not forget today's leaders in Africa who accept bribes from foreigners who are allowed access to Africa's vast natural resources (oil, diamonds, etc) as Africa's children starve. Incomplete history is not history at all..

Here's a tricky Black History question. President Barrack Hussein Obama's family names can be researched at Ancestry.com. What would you find-out if you did just that? A.) That President Obama is related to fmr. President John Hansen. (Our first pres., who happened to be a rich black man. Geo. Washington was our 6th president) B.) That President Oama's family arrived in America on slave ships. Or, C.) 'Barack', 'Hussein', and 'Obama' are all old family names of Arab-African slave masters. (10 pt. bonus ? How many of MLK's illigitimate children's sole source of income is hush money from the MLK foundation?...or, is Colin Powell really a blood relative of George Bush and the Queen of England?

@Portland Tony. Only the skinny/sickly tribespeople were traded away. Tribal chiefs would trade x amount of slaves for x amount of glass beads, for example. Once they arrived in the US, they ate better than ever and became healthier, naturally. But don't sh/t yourself. A big strong man can tote twice as many bails of hay before he gives out. Slave owners did in fact breed their biggest men to their biggest women to make bigger slaves, in violation of nature.

Black people were viewed as unwanted...sold by their own leaders into slavery and bondage. Then they were viewed as pieces of cargo. And finally, mindless automatons who were good for manual labor, period. Who wouldn't want a stronger robot?

  13. Black History Month Quiz (answers)

"C". And for 10 bonus points, none of MLK's illigitimate children have ever come forth as many of Thomas Jefferson's have. And yes, Colin Powell is a true blood relative of George Bush(s). Great grandp Bush was a Brit officer ruling over Haiti, where he humped-on Colin Powell's slave grandma when she was young. It's all on Ancestry.com. Yes, Bush is of royal Brit decent and related to the Queen of England. If you can't see Prince Charles looking into the mirror of George Bush, look again.
