As carnage mounted in the streets of Syria on Tuesday, government officials also continued their war of words.
No regime cares more about the Syrian people than its government, Foreign Minister Walid Moallem said. "We are not happy to see brothers killing each other," he said. His words flew in the face of opposition activists and world leaders who say thousands have died in a sustained onslaught by Syrian forces.
At least 60 people, including three women and two children, were killed across Syria on Tuesday alone, said the Local Coordination Committees of Syria, a network of opposition activists.

Assad is sending Care Packages in the shape of Bombs. Such a nice guy...
Sent to POTUS and the US Congress
Note this idea has strong Israeli implications as many of the Syrian "Rebels" are part of the Moslem Brotherhood, Hezbollah, Hamas and even Al Quaida.
Russia and China on a previous Saturday vetoed a United Nations Security Council resolution condemning the Syrian government's crackdown on
protests for the second time. At the meeting in Manhattan, 13 countries
voted for the resolution proposed by European and Arab nations that gave
strong support to an Arab League plan to end the crackdown and call for
President Bashar al-Assad to step aside. But Russia and China both vetoed the measure.
HERE IS A new UN proposal for POTUS and Secretary Clinton on how to solve
the Syrian Civil War without US troops and without supplying weapons to "Unknown Syrian Rebels".
As per a previous Saturday vote Russia and China are opposing any attempt to
remove Assad and for any UN interference as it wants to show and exercise their muscle as world powers to be reckoned with. Additionally, Russia has a naval base in Syria and many economic interests such as arms sales and investment in tourism.
SOLUTION: The US should propose at the Security Council that Russian and
Chinese troops be sent to Syria as UN peacekeepers with Arab League
Observers to stop the civil war and allow in medical and economic aid.
One vote with many solutions and no US Troops. A real easy solution that
no one should object to. It may not remove Assad but it should stop the
violence and save lives without US Troops or sending weapons to unknown Syrian "rebels".
How many more lives have to be lost waiting for a solution?
The Russians, Chinese and the Arab League will find it difficult to
refuse and Assad will find it difficult to object. If the Russians and Chinese fail to stop the violence, then the UN can recall them.
This should be on your agenda for discussion when you meet with POTUS.

Assad should be taken out by means of a MOAB.There wouldn't be any of him to bury, not much of the city either. He has to be taken out by someone,Black ops,Seals, whoever, cut the head off the snake, the country will fall.No military intervention, just hire professionals to go in sweet and simple,a lot cheaper .Quit this show of big armies, tribes, hundreds of years ago took one warrior from each tribe and they fought to the death, that's simple enough....
