Judge apologizes for forwarding a racist e-mail aimed at Obama

Montana's chief federal judge has offered his apologies for forwarding a racist e-mail aimed at President Barack Obama. The judge also initiated a judicial misconduct investigation against himself.

Liberal advocacy groups demanded that U.S. District Judge Richard Cebull resign.

Cebull, in an interview Wednesday with the Billings Gazette newspaper, offered his regrets for forwarding the e-mail, saying it was "a hard lesson to learn."

"To say it's inappropriate and stupid is an extreme understatement," Cebull said in courthouse chambers on Wednesday, according to the newspaper. "There is no doubt it's racist. It wasn't forwarded for that purpose. If anything, it was political."

      He would do well to take a page out of this judge's book about personal accountability when one is wrong!

    This man should have some dignity and leave the bench. His resignation AND a personal apology to all minorities is the only thing he can do to prove his contrition! It is terrifying to think of all the people (especially mixed-race people, who he and his brother think of as dogs) have appeared before him. This man is a disgrace to all Americans!!! How anyone could refer to him as "your honor" is laughable.

    Be a man Cebull,not a republican hypocrite and resign.Pres Obama may find kindness in his heart and let you live with your ignorance.You would bet if it were against a republican president,you've walked the plank.Since your only a lowly republican,people will have mercy on you,must be a screw up with your mothers contraceptive devises.She wasn't a teabagger was she,LOL...
