We had a window of opportunity when we got Osama to announce & implement a speedier withdrawal. But the war mongers here hadn't enough. Even President Obama's 2014 deadline is hard to swallow for them.
Wish we could cart them off to face the Talibans day in day out for a period of time and then see how loud their war cries are.
And yes a landing in the sands of Iran be spearheaded by Gingrich, Romney, Santorum, McCain & their ilk.

This was such a heinous act of crime. The soldier did a great disservice to US mission in Afghanistan.
As president Obama state, it was heart breaking. This henious act of crime should be condemned in the strongest way.
As, a native of Afghanistan, I do not only condemn this crime but also the crimes committed by the Taliban murederer and mercenaries.
It is so hypocritical of the criminal Taliban to claim justice while they are committing unbelievable attrocities and crimes gainst the people of Afghanistan. Taliban have exceutes 7 years old boy for spying, bombed the Mosques while innocent people were praying. Although, we all condemn the crime committed by this US soldier, the Taliban don't have any valid point to condemn this act because they are invloved in the worst crime of the century.
I should also mention the gathering of the Islamic Ulema (scholars) to condemn this act of crime. It is good to hear the Ulema conscience awakening. My questions is where are these parasite Ulema to condemns the heinous crimes commited by Taliban? Don't these Ulema have obligation under Islamic Shria to condemn the crimes committed by the Taliban againts the innocent people?
The answer is that these Ulema, Taliban, and other criminal are in-cahoots with each other. People of Afghanistan are tired and sick of Karzai, Taliban, and the Warlords. May God someday free these innocent people from the claws of these criminals. Amin!!!
Please just think what the poor people of Afghanistan going through!!!
