He's going down. Only difference is it will be here and not there, but he is going down. He will have to be made an example of to preserve what frail peace there is left. It may happen faster than what we are used to in fact to necessitate this end.
He will stand in a court Marshall,in front of his accusers and God.He's innocent for fighting a war nobody wanted, just oil and personal gain for people in glass houses ,that get wealthier with every conflict. He will be made an example for doing what America taught him to do KILL.He was released before decent neurological tests were done,a typical military proceedure that hurts our troops more than help. What about the afghan animals killing six of our troops, did YOU say anything,I bet not.Over a stupid book, that's their mentality and rearing. So pull our troops out and let them fight like rats amongst themselves, they deserve it...
Wars, more looming on the horizon, death, destruction, rape & pillage. Being in 'theatres' where we have no business to be for years on end. No end in sight, goals and achievements in abstract. A ceaseless cycle of violence, fear & hate. Draining us of national treasure & lives. Tortured psyche on both sides driving people to senseless acts.
This is what precisely these endeavours in Iraq & Afghanistan have been reduced to.
And yet we clamor for more of the same
... Who's we ?
Your asking surprises me @ kilroy
We Americans of course, the politicos and those roaming in corridors of power in Washington who don't tire beating the drums of war.
Afghan citizens are being denied their natural right to pursue justice. It's bad enough that well known suspected criminals are being assasinated right in front of our eyes before they have had their day in court. Now, not only are "we" approving assasinations, were are approving standing in the way of justice! If a gangsta kills your children, YOU would have that killa face his own gang.
@Ronvan small r...how you say? Oh yes. If you s troops go bye bye, Afghani say "adios" to you and your pipeline deal with China. Well, not "your" deal but some of US leaders personal deal. When US tropps gone, pipelines gone. No TAPI, no need you be here. Sionara.
@saywhat, Don't presume to speak for me because you need to throw your blanket of paranoia over an entire nation of millions of people. If you have a beef with our command structure right now then specify that. You represent all Americans poorly to the world to put it in the manner that you did.
American Son... Welcome back to your Land where mercy and reason struggle to prevail. We hope they prevail. To the rest of the world...the mentality of the terrorists and Their atrocities, even against their own people, for many more years than we've been in this war of self-defense, is what the world should be focusing on. Already, many Afghans are planning on moving to Pakistan before our scheduled troop withdrawl to escape the taliban. That is, those who can move and those who are not planning on continuing to harbor the terrorists. We haven't heard how the Son of America whose leg was blown off by the enemy, just hours before the alleged attack, is doing. Let the Facts be known to those who need to know Them. We think the worst enemies of Freedom are unknown to most of us. We need to focus on staying steady in family and country and appreciate the Service Members in their efforts to protect us.
