It's a shame, what happened to this soldier is finally opening the publics eyes.TBIs,trumatic brain injury,is a serious problem that has to be addressed, its been diagnosed by neurology specialists for years, but like other medical problems it has sat on the shelf till soldiers were diagnosed back in the Iraq war .Injuries resulting from IEDs, that are homemade road side bombs used on our men and women. Finally med students ,as well as neurological specialists will get proper training to not only diagnose, but treat this crippling disease.I for one ,is a care taker for my son that recieved a severe head injury in an auto-motocycle accident. It has not only changed my son,in a coma for 8 months, but he's awake now and has to start all over mentally. That's also a hugh burden on myself and family having to care for someone 24/7 .There's not much help in society for my son or us caretakers in this dilemma.Hopefully the government and health agencies will address this problem since this incident in Afghanistan has opened peoples eyes.I pray for Mr Bale and his family having to go thru this experience and my condolences to the innocent victims in Afghanistan.
I'm sitting in this airplane station.
Got a ticket for my destination.
Got my suitcase and guitar in hand.
I'm hoping that you'll understaaaand.
Hooomeward bound. Oh yes I am.
Hooomeward bound.
Cause I'm leaving on a jet plane.
Don't know when I'll be back again'
Just a small compilation of for your entertainment. Or not.
How many different songs did that come from, lol?
Safe journey, my friend.
"Homeward Bound" – Simon and Garfunkle
"Leaving on A Jet Plane" – Peter, Paul, and Mary. (I think)
Amiright? huh?
@banasy©
That's a seriously condensed version of two songs. With my own spin, of course.
I know Mamas and the Papas did it too, but I think PP&M did it first.
And yes banasy, you are correct. I would send you the prize, but my sponsors shorted me again.
Every single soldier that has seen battle and returned back home should be automaticaly examined to the fullest upon return! Its a shame that its been on the dhelf so long its really no surprise that these sort of things are happenning. Our troopers deserve better than what they have been given. Hopefully some day these kind of injuries can be somehow avoided, please can we all remember the wife and children also involved here, and the father who in a way is not just a suspect but also a victim himself! The man could be detrimental to our troops and give himself to specialists in some way as a living person to find a way to prevent these tragedies from happenning again in the future.
103.5 The FOX confirmed it! the wife and I DID see Manning leaving DIA a little bit ago. Colfax just announced that he did indeed land in Denver today!!!!!
@@@@BOBCAT2u..........................your getting like Mr bombo!!! Good since of humor but please remember the sacrifice he has made, he did protect our country. And plus theres no way at all to catch these problems before hand. But your rightly funny!
Just an FYI for you Superman. I also served my country. I'm not a young talk about it type. How about you ?
Actually, he leaves me in the dust. I just quote other people's stuff. I tried googling bobcat's verse, and it seems to be unique.
I am made from the dust of the stars
And the oceans flow in my veins
Here I hide in the heart of the city
Like a stranger coming out of the rain
The evening plane rises up from the runway
Over constellations of light
I look down into a million houses
And wonder what you're doing tonight
If I could wave my magic wand
I'd make everything all right
(Rush, Presto)
I don't remember sacrificing anything for my country (?)
@ BOMBO ©
I'm not sure, but that superman may be a troll. If it's the same one, it was spouting crap last night too.
What's not to like ? Besides, I did say it was for your entertainment, Or not.
When Lois isn't around, I like to put kryptonite up my rectum and then use my x-ray vision. I think it make Lex Luther jealous.
1:15 pm ET – Romney talks economy..........lol
I know, right?
I think I'll sit this one out. The Red Sox are play'n Tampa.
Dear Superman.
You were just saying that people should watch what they say.
Perhaps you should take your own advice.
Best,
banasy©
Good Afternoon all, I do believe this superman is a troll with a rectal fetish. Sounds like the same one that trolled our beloved @bobcat last night. @banasy, next stop on my travels is Chicago and then on to Ohio.
Hey, Daz!
I heard you'd be out this way!
Which store, and when?
lmao @ bobcat, good song choice!
Thank you chrissy. It's being one of my crazy minded days today. I sure do feel bad for the flight attendants.
not superman @ l2:57 for sure.
@ dazzle
That troll was having a good ole dirty mouthed time at my expense last night. I think that probably shows an element of jealousy on their part, Oh no, now I'm sounding like Dr. Phil.
My flight out leaves this afternoon. I'm thinkinking about putting a roll of silver dollars in my pocket for when I go through that scan.
" Let's give them somthing to talk about."
Wow, this must be my song quoting day.
You have a safe to trip to Chi-town. And the rounded out state of OhiO.
@bobcat2u, Jealosy of the troll is right on. If you leave out of Dallas, you might be one of the chosen to get that dreadful scan. LOl, on the silver dollars. Try and behave if you can ;-). @banasy, Michigan Ave on Wed.Keep the songs coming!!
@ dazzle
I hope I can behave myself. Sometimes that word is not in my vocabulary. But it is all harmless.
bc(iah) : Well, you'll just have to gift me with some more of your humor.
Oh, and Thelma Lou says hello.
@Daz:
I may have to go on a road trip Wnesday!
Retry that pic to chrissy, please?
My phone refuses to send it!
@@@chrissy .........thank you for @12:57 entry it was not mine. I appreciate it and sorry for miss inderstandings on previous entries on this article im sorry this is true superman!!! They used to call me knny. The ice climber take a clue there ok everybody accept my appologys and ill try my hardest to keep it straight. And no ive never served my country . But every time i see a vet or military personal out ant about i always thank them for every thing. All i was saying earlier about returning soldiers is the fact that we need to take better care of these men and women when they return. You can not really put a price on freedom, but the sacrifice that these people pay to be away from loved ones is priceless. Thats all i was trying to say earlier. And once again im sorry
