Even Science says the world will end, it just doesn't say how( other than a bunch of possible ways). Scientist do predict that even the Universe will end when everything expands out of existence; but I'm sure some new piece to the puzzle will come along and debunk even that. Maybe it will be the God Particle actually proving God has a plan? SETI is looking, maybe he will answer one day?

Well, anyone can see that over the last 5 years the Earth has been going through some major changes. Im telling you right now, those Mayan knew something we don't. I mean, their clocks were as precise as an atomic clock and somehow they knew the exact age of the universe (15 billion years). So, when they something is going to happen in 2012, I think we better listen to them. 5 of the most powerful earthquakes ever recorded have happened in just the last 4 years.

I agree Ghostmule, the Mayan clocks were actually closer to 1 second more accurate than NASA'S clocks that are used fir space shuttles.

Considering the age of Earth, we've been measuring the strength of earthquakes for about 12 seconds now... So what if the 5 biggest in that time happened most recently. This is a planet with a hot gooey middle. Stuff like this will continue to happen until it cools completely and the crust runs all the way through instead of floating.

yes whenever wicked becomes too big the benevolent Lord restores the balance in His creation in various means – the powerful natural calamities establish in human mind how powerless they are in front of Nature and the ego is kept at check.

They are starting to get stronger. I would be lying if I said this is the last of them. Plenty more earthquakes coming this year I am sure. My tip to everyone is to "DONT FREAK OUT!!!!!" Gotta stay calm somehow in these crazy situations. It's simple, the only way to survive is by not panicking, stay calm, and "DONT FREAK OUT!!!!!! (im freaking out). 🙂

Yes.. and there were some of the worst catastrophies years ago too ( Pompei anyone? AD 79) . And don't forget the devastation of:
Mt. Tambora, Indonesia 1816 Death Toll: 92,000
Mt. Pelee, West Indies 1902 Death Toll: 40,000
Mt. Krakatoa, Indonesia 1883 Death Toll: 36,000
Nevado del Ruiz, Columbia 1985 Death Toll: 23,000 with mudslide...

SO.. yeh the last 5 years have been terrible.. .but history shows its been tough in other centuries too!

Cheer up – if it happens there is nothing we can do about it (unless you believe in the movies !)
