Al Qaeda leader calls for Afghans to rise up against Western troops

Al Qaeda leader Ayman al-Zawahiri calls on Afghans to rise up against Western troops - especially American forces - in their country and back the Taliban, according to a recent audio message posted on jihadist web forums Wednesday.

The message, running more than 11 minutes in length, condemns the values of "crusader secular Western civilization" and follows a series of acts by American soldiers in Afghanistan that have been heavily publicized, including U.S. Marines urinating on the bodies of slain insurgents.

"This act represents their values," al-Zawahiri says,"and this is their view toward other people in general and the Muslims in particular, and this is their way of treating us."

Other events inflaming Muslim passions included the accidental burning of Qurans by U.S. troops and a shooting spree by an American soldier that left 16 Afghan civilians dead. The United States has apologized for the acts.

You place the blame ultimately on the military. They took him in,like a lotta guys I knew back during the Vietnam war,you did time in jail or they'd make sure ya enlisted to serve your time, overseas. So ultimately the military is responsible because at times of war, beggars can't be chosers,ya take what ya can and make it work.War changes men and women, they're never the same...But Bales past didn't make him kill, our great military machine did, ruining many peoples lives..The Afghans never had it so good.Medical, food, associated goods brought in from America, schools and people who care. This isolated incident could have been avoided if this soldier was handled differently.Remember it was the military who lied after his third deployment, saying after he recieved medical attention for the TBI and a foot injury ,he'd go home for good. Then reneging on the deal sending him not to Iraq, but now to Afghanistan for his fourth deployment,so who now is lying, sure ain't Bales.Military does this to troops all the time ,a common accurence, ask any military vet, they know...

These al qeada are not hyprocrites are they? If they are taught to kill all outside there own religion , and they are doing that than that makes them the practice what you preach people. But how can a bible in there terms preach such horrific things anyways

The punch line was in the question. It's an old comedic way of communicating political views. Perhaps if you crawled-out from underneath whatever has shielded your mind from the basic and natural reasons for comedy, you might simultaneously pull your head out of your *significant others* ass. Just sayin'.

One hopes and prays that you're telling the truth this time, but I doubt it, for you have lied many, many times before.
I liked you much better when you were pretending to be a much older man than you are, just so the younger women wouldn't hit on you.
Oh, yeah, BRING OUR TROOPS HOME!

Ifya was the same pr!ck who just gave you the same advice.
If you want interesting convo, or one tgat borders on the insane, do listen to him.
He has so many issues, mainly starting with how he views himself, that he tries to deflect by calling others names.
He does this becauuse he is a hypocrite of the highest order.
Don't mind him, for he finally owned up to his name, and he has lied many, many times before; his veracity, and his information, is frequently wrong.
If you enjoy insanity in print, look for him. He frequently calls women hags, mainly because he cannot get one; he is too high maintenance, and refuses to take his meds.
He talks out od both sides of his mouth; he is both sacred abbd profane.
If he cannot get you to agree with him, he slanders.
If he cannot get you to agree with him, he fabricates.
If he cannot get you to agree with him, he condescends.
His bragadocio and his faux machismo is to cover up a deeply flawed person who is as insecure in his masculinity as he is about his gender preference.

      He is a liar.
He has the ugliest soul ever.

I really wish people would stop blaming President Obama for EVERYTHING. I mean, everything is "his" fault. Even things he has NO control over. "Darn, its raining outside. Freakin Obama's fault." Doesn't that sound ridiculous..???
