CNN prime time: Houston autopsy results, Gingrich fires at De Niro

NAACP president: This is a national issue

He’s stepping aside, but says it’s a temporary move. Sanford, Florida, Police Chief Bill Lee made the announcement as criticism mounted over his handling of last month’s shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin by a neighborhood watch volunteer. On CNN’s “John King, USA,” Candy Crowley speaks to the NAACP president about whether or not the move is enough.

Houston cause of death determined

Cocaine and heart disease played a role in Whitney Houston’s accidental drowning in a bathtub. Those were the findings in an initial autopsy report released Thursday. On CNN’s “Anderson Cooper 360,” Drs. Gupta and Drew weigh in on how the coroner determined her cause of death.

Gingrich: De Niro joke 'wrong'

It’s the joke that won’t die. Hosting an Obama fundraiser Monday, Robert De Niro referenced the wives of the GOP candidates and joked that America might not be "ready for a white first lady." Some thought it was funny, some not so much. CNN's Piers Morgan asked GOP candidate Newt Gingrich what he thought of it, and well ... you'll just have to watch.
