The trial for Jerry Sandusky, the former Penn State assistant football coach accused of molesting several boys, has been postponed until June 5.
The trial was scheduled for May 15 but it "must be postponed to accommodate various logistical contingencies," court documents said.
Sandusky's lawyer, Joe Amendola, said the delay may still not be enough time.
"We don't know if we will have all the information we need and are entitled to receive prior to the new trial date, but we will do our very best to be ready to proceed to trial on June 5," Amendola said.
Sandusky, a longtime defensive coordinator for the Nittany Lions, is currently under house arrest as he awaits trial on more than 50 counts of child sexual abuse. He has pleaded not guilty.
FULL STORY
If, once again if he is found guilty, his sentence should be life in general population
Postponed? Its going to cost even more. Doesnt the government allocate so much money per case? And if they do, then that runs out do they allocate more?
Logistic contingencies?
WTHeck is that?
Sounds a lot like the crimes he's ALREADY committed!
ðŸ™
My thoughts, prayers and
respect to his victims,
Hope
(excuse me)
LOGISTICAL CONTINGENCIES?
O-O
I hope he rots in hell
If there is a hell. If not i hope he drops the soap.....a lot.
Sandusky a former defensive coordinator, yet in this case the Law can be played using the same dirty tactics.
The guy bends over passes the ball and he passes it and the whole defensive team *hide* it till the ball is *in*
Oh Sandusky will have to pay, whether here or in front of Jesus.
Correction to the last sentence
Sandusky like all as I understand it will pay by means of his death, whether or not he pays under mans law.
As a believer, Sandusky could have his sins forgiven if he repented for them. As a citizen, our laws call for Sandusky(s) to answer for any crimes that may or may not have been committed. Jesus made way for the forgiveness if sins, not crimes. (example: abortion and sodomy recently became legal under man's laws but still violate God's laws, even the laws if nature.
He has NOT been tried yet people! We can assume hes guilty but he IS presumed innocent until then! @ mary, get a grip, you have no right to judge, im assumming EVEN your bible says that!
(laws *of nature) Do the crime, do the time. Even if Jesus forgave you.
First it must be proved that he DID the crime.
it's ok... the ghetto kids must have liked it if not one person came forward to report it...
.
not a single person reported the crime or made sure the cops knew...
NUT?
What is it that you do? Try to come up with the most offensive blog that will offend the most people? Well, you've mastered that so, please try something different like telling a story about a boy who lacks on talent, but soars with ambition… who looks at Sandusky as a hero, someone he is proud to be associated with who's gonna make a real football player outta him... only to be abused and shamed in the worst way. And CAN'T tell anyone what a fool he was because of the stigma that is bound to come from people like YOU!
YOU'RE NOT A WARRIOR...
YOU'RE A GROWN MAN WHO PICKS ON LITTLE KIDS!
Act your age,
Hope
Even if I was gay I wouldn't enjoy Sandusky. That white man is butt ugly.
We are all guilty of sin, no matter what it may be.
No, the bible does not say that. It says to quit mixing in company with anyone calling himself a Christian who is a fornicator, drunkard, extortioner, etc. The bible asks "Do you not judge those inside[your religion], while god judges those outside? And then answers: "Remove the wicked man from among yourselves." (1. Corinthians 5:11-13) I hope that answers your ??? about how vital it is for believers to judge each other, for God to judge the rest, and for domestic laws to judge us all.
