6.3 magnitude quake in Oaxaca, Mexico, USGS says

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 6.3 struck in the Mexican state of Oaxaca on Monday, the U.S. Geological Survey said.

The quake's epicenter was about 17 miles (27 km) from Ometepec, Guerrero. It was about 7.6 miles (12 km) deep, the USGS said.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.

Residents felt the quake in Mexico City, hundreds of miles away from the epicenter.

There were no initial reports of major damage in the capital, Mayor Marcelo Ebrard said on Twitter.

    Thanks for sharing these wonderful threads. In addition, the right travel in addition to medical insurance system can often eliminate those concerns that come with journeying abroad. Any medical crisis can rapidly become extremely expensive and that's certain to quickly place a financial load on the family finances. Setting up in place the ideal travel insurance package prior to setting off is worth the time and effort. Thanks a lot
