10:15 am ET - Discovery heads to new home - Space shuttle Discovery, which left Kennedy Space Center for the final time earlier today, arrives at Dulles International Airport en route to its new, permanent home at the Smithsonian.

10:30 am ET - 'Baby Gabriel' trial - Opening statements are expected in the trial of Tammi Smith, who's accused of forgery and custodial interference in the case of missing child Gabriel Johnson.

12:30 pm ET - White House briefing - The Secret Service and GSA scandals will likely top Press Secretary Jay Carney's agenda with the White House press corps.

4:50 pm ET - NASCAR honored at White House - President Obama welcomes 2011 NASCAR Sprint Cup champion Tony Stewart to the White House.

7:20 pm ET - GOP candidates attend dinner - GOP presidential candidates Mitt Romney and Newt Gingrich speak at a dinner in Lancaster, Pennsylvania.

    Your Tax Dollars at Work

    When NASA first started sending astronauts in to space, they quickley that ballpoint pens would not work in zero gravity.
    To combat this problem, NASA scientists spent a decade and billions of dollars to develop a pen that would write in zero gravity, upside down, underwater, on almost any surface and in extreme temperatures.

    The Russians us a pencil.

    The Post Office just recalled their latest stamp. They had pictures of IRS agents and people couldn't decide which side to spit on.
    Q. What do you call 25 skydiving IRS agents ?
    A. Skeet
    Q. What's the difference between an IRS agent and a mosquito ?
    A. One is a blood-sucking parasite, the other is an insect.
