George Zimmerman, the neighborhood watch volunteer charged with murder in the February death of Trayvon Martin, has been released on bail from a Florida jail.
Zimmerman walked out of the John E. Polk Correctional Facility in Sanford, Florida, around midnight Sunday, wearing a brown jacket and blue jeans and carrying a brown paper bag in his arms. He got into the back of a white BMW and did not speak to reporters.
It was not immediately known where he was headed.
The Seminole County Sheriff's Office said Zimmerman was fitted with an electronic monitoring device, which can keep tabs on his whereabouts in real time.
Over the weekend, his lawyer had said Zimmerman could remain behind bars until the middle of this week due to concerns about collecting enough funds for his bond, which was set at $150,000.
With the 10% cash payment customarily made to secure bond, Zimmerman's family needed $15,000 for him to make bail.

Hello, Scottish Mama.
Our posts crossed.
Good afternoon Joey.
@Joey I am aware. Correct I was saying I hope they have collected the evidence to prove or the lack of evidence will aquit Zimmerman. I was speaking of the collection and retention of the evidence.
Tray was a thug
Eventually we will all know the real story. I believe that Z will be found not guilty because of the stand your ground law. I believe that Tray over reacted to the white man asking him questions and attacked him. We will see what the facts show but I am hard to fool on something like this. If he had shot him in the back, different story but he was shot in the front while he was on top of Z. Lets see how close I am to the facts.
So in other words, unarmed people cant stand their ground only people with guns can?

NAACP, people shoul call it NAABP. Z will be free at the end.
