Bradley Manning switches lawyers

Pfc. Bradley Manning has a new military lawyer working with his civilian defense attorney as he faces charges in connection with the largest leak of classified documents in U.S. history.

The Army intelligence analyst is suspected of leaking hundreds of thousands of classified military and State Department documents while serving in Iraq. Many of those documents ended up on the WikiLeaks website.

At a hearing Tuesday, Manning requested that the two military attorneys who were assigned to him, Maj. Matthew Kemkes and Capt. Paul Bouchard, be removed and replaced with Capt. Joshua Toomes. No reason was provided.

The judge in the case, Col. Denise Lind, granted the motion.

Why? Perhaps it was the cute little gotee. Or maybe it was his snazzi cufflinks. Or he didn't need a top o the line lawyer to defend the leakage of playboy cable images, or how to win at military canasta. Maybe he didn't diseminate "anything" that would of got anybody killed. Nobody seems to know nothing about Pfc Bradley Manning (equiv. Gomer Pyle). He wasn't paid to have any brains anyways.

How is it that there is no law that gives the government the right to conceal the truth from three citizens, but they are ready to charge manning with treason. He is a hero.

Delay tactic. He was arrested over two years ago. Grow a pair, judge, and get this case into court. Oh, judge "Denise", I guess you can't grow a pair. You're getting played and make a mockery of justice. Guilty by sundown, hemp rope necktie at sunrise, watch him dance a little deadman's jig and happy hour by noon. For the living. Bradley gets planted in his new dirt bed.

Whatever your opinion of Pfc Manning might be, he was the key in releasing more classified information than ever before. You can question if they cost lives, but they did embarrass many nations and did have diplomatic relation consquences.
Paid or not, spying or just curious – he is guilty of his crimes and because of the volume and new method of doing it, you can bet they're gonna throw the book at him.

If they persecuted Jesus for revealing the truth, what makes anyone think they won't do the same to a mere man.
