(CNN) - Egypt's ruling military council does not plan to reshuffle the nation's civilian government, a military source told CNN Monday, contradicting a leading lawmaker's assertion that a Cabinet overhaul was imminent.
Saad al-Katatni, the speaker of Egypt's lower house of parliament, said Sunday that the council would announce changes to the Egyptian government in a matter of days.
But a senior military source for Egypt's military council contradicted that claim Monday.
"No reshuffle is planned within the Cabinet," said the source, who asked not to be identified. "Al-Katatni can say whatever he wants."

In other words, " We the military rulers will not relinquish power".
That was my thought *exactly*!
I'm just relieved. The Shuffle is outdated, like the Watusi.
And the Hustle.
What little news comes out of that area now doesn't seem to bode well. The way it's going over there in the ME, it could be one giant collage of islamic rule, which in turn doesn't bode well for the rest of the world.
Dang it, Rawr!
You beat me to it again, with the Hustle!
Can I use the "Electric Slide" here, or is it too soon for that?
As long as you leave me the Mashed Potatos, Twist, Monkey, Frug and last but absolutely nut the least, The Jerk.
Is it any wonder, with the dances we used to do, that we have back problems now ?

What, no Swim?
lol...would like to see the drunken alligator wedding dance
Lol, bobcat...you do make me laugh.
Dang. Still no mention of the tunnels running beneath Israel's border with Egypt with enough black market diamonds and Uzzi brand machine guns to make Egypts's former President Mubarek and a select group of Jewish businessmen among the richest men in the world, and "made in Israel" the second-most common inscription found on ullegal weapons. (plus many unscrupulous diamonds are a girls best friend)
I came to see what was in the cards and ended up shuffling my feet.
@ bobcat
rightly said " we the military rulers will not relinquish power". So what do we the champions of democracy who like to have our fingers in every pie found on this planet do now?
@ Philip
With the Egyptian military in power & our aid to them kept flowing, it would remain business as usual in those tunnels.
