Transgender Miss Universe Canada contestant falls short of title

Jenna Talackova, the 23-year-old woman who forced Donald Trump and his Miss Universe Canada pageant to end its ban on transgender contestants, fell short of the national title Saturday night at the pageant in Toronto.

The crown went to Sahar Biniaz, an Indian-born, Iranian-raised actress from Vancouver. Biniaz, 26, will represent Canada at the Miss Universe pageant in December, according to the Miss Universe Canada website.

Talackova didn't walk away from the pageant empty-handed. In addition to finishing among the top 12 semi-finalists, Talackova tied with three other contestants for the title of Miss Congeniality.

Heh heh. I'm sure missing the "r" in the 9th word of your post was accidental, but it does make your comment a lot funnier.

*her in Vegas. This will take some getting used to. It's nice knowing men will be competing on the Ladies Professional Golf Tour though, to be fair.

If your DNA is male, then you flat out have a physical advantage, so no that is not fair.

Wonder how long the pro-gayers' would stand up for the *I was born this way* stance, if ya'll found one in bed with your husband? Oooops 😉
I wonder why those of you have so much zeal for books of all sorts, yet zero enthusiasm for the Bible?

The bible is just a poorly written piece of philosophy. When a philosophy contradicts itself, it's validity is none. You act as if military atheists haven't read the book of hate

Why would infidelity matter which gender your partner was cheating on you with, Mary?

Its no ones loss that they don't understand how people can blindly follow a book whose teachings are at best contradictory, at worst out right false and hypocritical

A preacher was completing a temperance sermon. With great expression he said, "If I had all the beer in the world, I'd take it and throw it into the river!" The congregation nodded their approval. With even greater emphasis he added, "And if I had all the wine in the world, I'd take it and throw it into the river, too!" The people clapped and were saying "Amen." And then finally, he concluded, "And if I had all the whiskey in the world, I'd take it and throw it into the river!"
As he sat down, the song leader then stood up quite cautiously and announced, "For our closing song, let us sing Hymn #365: "Shall We Gather at the River."

Mary: I would be angry at my spouse for infedelity no matter what my stance on h o m o s e x u a l i t y. Thare is no such the as pro gayers either. There is tolerance for gay people. You ckearly have no clue whattransgender means, either. Think for yourself, woman, and stop hiding behing someone else's skirts...!

Maybe there's something wrong with me, but I would react differently. If I came home and found my wife in bed with another man, I'd be outraged and might kill the guy. If I came home and found my wife in bed with another woman, I'll laugh and yell "all right" and jump in bed with them.

The most extensive surgery cannot change that thing into a functioning woman. every woman in that pageant should be upset that a nuetered gay man is trying to take their spot in the spot light.

Um gender is in your genes, not your plastic looks. He is still a he. By this bimbos logic, a man could "trasngender", then play sports as a "woman", and reck house, because "she" style has male muscles, and that would be fair. I don't think so
