Britain's Prince Philip hospitalized

Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh and the husband of Britain's Queen Elizabeth II, has been hospitalized with a bladder infection, Buckingham Palace said Monday.

He will remain hospitalized for observation for a few days, according to a palace statement.

The prince will miss Monday night's concert as part of the queen's Diamond Jubilee as well as events related to the celebration on Tuesday, the palace said.

If they don't use the money for the schools, they should not get the funds.

But if Prince Harry is not feeling up to par, I'd be more than happy to come over and help ease HIS suffering! 😉

Whats not to celebrate about an 86 year old woman who's never worked a day in her life, never prepared a meal for herself, and travels around the world in luxury waving her little hand around? Wow.

I see you are one of those people who figure the less you research something the better the critic you can become.

Never worked a day in her life?

WOW – you really don't have a clue, do you?

I'd challenge you to work a year doing the work she's done.

She was also an active serving member of the armed forces in World War II, she was a mechanic on the home front.

Travelling in luxury? She travels by commercial train. Your American President travels on his own 747. Let's compare luxuries, shall we?

Welfare recipents don't work. The Queen does. The sort of work The Queen does is more comparible to the sort of work the CEO of a major corporation does, and she gets paid WAY less than many CEOs in the USA.

I'd say the British people were getting very good value for money.

I'm surprised how many Anglophiles commented on this article. Sorry the old guy is sick, but Jesus, the whole family is just a bunch of parasites.

I'm surprised at how many Americans don't have a clue as to the work that the Royal Family actually do.

Sir, I wish you well. You must have been in a world of pain standing for almost 2 hours yesterday morning, and you were still there with a smile on your face and a cheery wave.
