Hard drive, bags removed from Etan Patz suspect's home

Authorities removed a computer drive and two satchels, among other items, during the execution of a search warrant at the home of Pedro Hernandez, accused of killing 6-year-old Etan Patz in 1979, the attorney for Hernandez's wife said Thursday.

The search warrant was executed as part of the ongoing investigation into Etan's decades-old disappearance. Hernandez was arrested last month. Police said he confessed to strangling the boy and throwing his body away in a trash bag.

The search began Wednesday afternoon and wrapped up early Thursday at the couple's New Jersey house, said Robert Gottlieb, who represents Rosemary Hernandez.

J.F.: Who do "you" know, that has a computer, with a hard drive, from 1979, the year little Etan Patz was first found missing?

His wife has suggested that he has periodic delusional episodes and without a body or any physial evidence or witnesses, how can this guy be truly found guilty beyond a shaddow of a doubt? Just sayin...

  4. Oh how lovely

If he did do it he's a monster. No tolerance for people who hurt kids. Why did they not question this man when Etan went missing? From news reports that I've read he admitted to the killing when they first began the investigation. But the investigators didn't believe him. Why? Why wouldn't they have looked into that? If I were Etan's parents I would be beyond furious. I can't imagine their pain. And it will never go away. I hope this can at least bring some closure. It's every parents worst nightmare. I'm not sure how they go on. They must be amazing people and my thoughts are with the whole family. Hopefully justice will be served and they can get the answers they deserve.

It shouldn't be too hard to date the clothes & the model car.

And I'm sure police have a description of what Etan was wearing on the date he vanished. Was he wearing shorts? Did he own a Stryker & was it missing from his home?
