The alleged victim whose allegations triggered the criminal investigation into Jerry Sandusky is expected to take the stand Tuesday in the former Penn State assistant football coach's child rape trial, kicking off the second day of testimony in the high-profile case.
Michael Boni, a lawyer for the person identified in court documents as Victim 1, told CNN on Monday night his client is "ready to go."
The grand jury report cited evidence that Sandusky, who met the boy when he was 11 or 12 years old, "indecently fondled Victim 1 on a number of occasions, performed oral sex on Victim 1 on a number of occasions and had Victim 1 perform oral sex on him on at least one occasion."
The teenager, who transferred schools amid the fallout from the Sandusky investigation, graduated from his new high school this past weekend, according to Boni. He is contemplating scholarship offers from colleges, the lawyer adds.

I hope his bravery in coming forward will result in the perminate incarceration of this evil pederast.
This will be a quick comment as I have to run out the door now.
Please remember that this blog IS about the victims first and Sandusky needing to pay for his sins
Not personal assaults against each other here or twisting others words
Even IF ones sins are forgiven, there are crimes to pay for.
Sandusky's suspected crime is boy raype. Even if an, say, Catholic priest is forgiven for rayping that boy, he must still pay for his crimes. (or just have his local Archdiocese dip into money dedicated to God) We don't donate money at church so that a man can get out of paying for his own crimes. (well, some of US don't anyway)
The kids were all about it at the time.
I hope you are not implying that these boys were complicit in what happened to them. They are victims of a horrible crime by a horrible pervert. Shame on tou.
I find in all these raype victims stories, it has a running pattern thru them, showers. Peace to them at this turmultuous time.
@ Philip see how they have adopted "Child Raype"? You have gotten thru to the masses on the wording. Scottish.
There are victims and then there are volunteers.
The way I see it, if a person is being se xually assaulted, if they don't cry-out for help, filling out a police report, for example, then they fall under the catergory of volunteer. For a certainty, the next true victim would be volunteered. (failure to report crimes makes one complicit)
Of course there would be exceptions such as cases involving very young victims who simply don't have the vocabulary to describe what happened to them, or were convinced by a trusted person that everything was normal. (such as a young one knowing his mother knows but isn't telling, or a holy man representing Jesus in the childs eyes because he's holy in mommy's eyes)
And so it seems that some of Sandusky's victims may have been volunteers, for this has been going on for over 15 years.
This has got to be the sickest, most disgusting "opinion" I have ever seen in my life, and I've seen some pretty sick "opinions". I pray to God you are not around children, because the way *I* see it, you're looking for a "volunteer"!
I have to say once again how outraged I am that you are labeling these kids as volunteers, as if they wanted willingly to be abused by Sandusky. What a dispi cable thing to do! Next, you'll be saying that as "volunteers", they must have enjoyed it! God, you sound like a classic enabler!
About victims vs volunteers. Unless an actual police report was filled out, the crime was covered up. Of course this would not apply to victims too young to write.
@philip – I hope of all people you are not blaming the abused. But are speaking about the adults who chose not to report it.
That's EXACTLY what it sounds like to me! "Volunteers"? Disgusting!
Of course. Keep in mind there are millions of adults who, as children, were abused but never reported it b/c they were too young. Family members never reported it, and they don't talk about it amongst themselves either. Adult victims of child abuse rarely speak-out at all...about much of anything. I actually had to hire people to talk to me about mine b/c nobody else would.
Still, the one being se xually assaulted, if of an age where they KNOW it's wrong, should be screaming and kicking and biting and then telling their parents, who then call the police. Some parents keep it a secret though.
@philip- I think it is not that people do not want to help. I think they are afraid. They are afraid of helping because they may not be able to help (fail) and think they may damage the person further. I think alot of people also would not want to befriend abused people because they are afraid for their children and think abused people are crazy. I think mostly it is fear of the unknown behavior the abused may have.
Again koodles to you for your strong intervention, enlightenedment, and verbage, to bring to light (Raype), that makes us understand a tabo discussion and hard to grasp abuse.
To relable children who have been ra ped but didn't kick and scream or fill out a police report as a Lvolunteer" is doing a gross injustice to the VICTIM. One cannot know the reasons that the victim didn't do any of those things! By that logic, every single one of the Sandusky victims were thusly "volunteers", and Sandusky did nothing wrong....shame on you for belittling what these boys went through, and the permanent damage it caused their psyche! Volunteer, me patootie! Thank GOD it's only an opinion!!!
And shame on ANY parentwho found out, and didn't step forward TO fill out a reprt, choosing to ignore a child in distress! OOOOOH, this topic makes me so MAD!
