Good Morning All! It is a wait and see game in Arizona to see who will replace Gabrielle Giffords in Congress. This will be quite contentious.

Considering that the OK Thunder are playing you can bet that I'll be at a bar watching since it's a free shot every time they win lol. Discounted shots every time they score.
@Dazzle yes it will be but it's going to be hard to replace her !

I know you look here every day. How do you feel now after the disgusting display the other night? No conscience, only ego. Keeping a low profile is becoming obvious. Don't worry, I don't sell people out. The last "link" has been severed.

Well lets hope we get some young blood to replace Ms Giffords, although they are gonna have some very big shoes to fill!

I feel like an I-Reporter on the ground in the hotly contested election to who will be elected to finish out Congresswoman's Giffords term in Congress. Voting was steady but calm despite the tensions. The first round of votes are expected in 20 minutes from the time this posts. I won't even venture a guess at this point as both the Barber and Kelly groups are quiet. Tucson prays that the right choice will be made. We are a city of great diversity and many of us are not affiliated with either party.

The first 154,000 votes in Congressional District 8 have been counted. Results so far are Barber(D) 53.07%, Kelly (R) 44.40% and Manolonkis (Green Party) 2.5%.. Final results are not expected until morning. Fellow bloggers, I am terribly passionate about this so forgive my stats that I am getting on the ground. We are thankful we didn't lose Gabby to this horrible tragedy and in our minds and hearts she is irreplaceable.
