@ M's, Being that the Lemmings, wolves, and muskrats are apart of the largest 'mammal radiation', does that not seem ironic to you? LOL
I Wovles being the Media, and muskrats being the engrossed spectators who encourage this circus.
    Good Morning to you.

    Thanks @ Mmmm
Europe's economic woes are beginning to impact.
Our struggle to overcome our own is inexorably tied to military spending, expanding interventions, national security costing trillions, a direction less foreign policy and unconditional, hush hush aid in billions to an 'ally' annually.
Unless the nation wakes up to this reality and gets Congress to listen, no efforts centered on domestic policies alone can solve our problems.

Congress is more aware of these things than we are, @saywhat. Aware of >ush's crimes...aware of the real reasons for these "far-flung" (as CNN puts it) invasions and occupations of foreign lands. They know as most of US know, and apporve.

"Congress is more aware of these things than we are."
"They know as much as the US knows, and approve."

I'm sorry, but this seems to be a contradictory statement, They know.

  7. bobcat (in a hat)©,

An 80-year old man was having his annual checkup and the doctor asked him how he was feeling. "I've never been better!" he boasted. "I've got an eighteen year old bride who's pregnant and having my child! What do you think about that?"

The doctor considered this for a moment, then said, "Let me tell you a story. I knew a guy who was an avid hunter. He never missed a season. But one day, he went out in a bit of a hurry, and he accidentally grabbed his umbrella instead of his gun."

The doctor continued, "So he was in the woods, and suddenly a grizzly bear appeared in front of him! He raised up his umbrella, pointed it at the bear and squeezed the handle."

"And do you know what happened?" the doctor queried.

Dumbfounded, the old man replied, "No."

The doctor continued, "The bear dropped dead in front of him!"

"That's impossible!" exclaimed the old man. "Someone else must have shot that bear."

"That's kind of what I'm getting at," replied the doctor.

meanwhile, home foreclosures are up, unemployment is starting to go back up, the misery index is up, food costs are going up, and Obama is still trying to blame someone else for his failures. He had two full years of Democrat control of the House and Senate and could have passed anything he wanted without needing a single Republican vote. And all we got was an unconstitutional government mandate to buy health insurance.

    @banasy©

    Good Morning to you.
She's doing pretty well considering the chemo treatments and whatnot. She gets the nasty chemo every three weeks, so about the time she's recovering from one dose, it's time for another. But overall she is doing good. Thanks for asking.

  12. bobcat (in a hat)©,

A married couple went to he hospital to have their baby delivered. Upon their arrival, the doctor said he had invented a new machine that would transfer a portion of the mother's labour pain to the father.

He asked if they were willing to try it out. They were both very much in favour of it. The doctor set the pain transfer dial to 10% for starters, explaining that even 10% was probably more pain than the father had ever experienced before.

But as the labour progressed, the husband felt fine and asked the doctor to go ahead and bump it up a notch. The doctor then adjusted the machine to 20% pain transfer. The husband was still feeling fine.

The doctor checked the husband's blood pressure and was amazed at how well he was doing. At this point they decided to try for 50%.

The husband continued to feel quite well. Since it was obviously helping out his wife considerably, the husband encouraged the doctor to transfer ALL the pain to him.

The wife delivered a healthy baby with virtually no pain.

She and her husband were ecstatic.

When they got home, the mailman was lying dead on their porch.
