The president and his aides have already formulated a response to the supreme courts inevitable decision of striking down the Obamacare mandate. Not looking good for his primary achievement while in office if that's what you want to call it...

Might have been one of his primary achievements had CONGRESS left it alone! It was initially intended to make health care AFFORDABLE for all! Now its so full of bs and not much much of anything on health care!!

Chrissy ,what has republicans done to help with the health care crisis or people in this country, absolutly nothing, am I right, they've never interjected anything helpful and these mandates were approved by republicans years ago for Romney and his pet project, wasn't it!!If these mandates are reversed than any credibility these supreme court judges have had will be lost, every mandate will be challenged, every law or fee as well,SCOTUS will be reduced to old people in black gowns, their impartiality will be challenged, their judgements will be questioned, their voting along party lines will be seen as unpatriotic, their positions will be seen world wide as a position that with their aging years should have been replaced or eliminated, this again will be judged in courts of law nationwide for years to come..They'll open up a legal can of worms that this countries never seen before, law suits nationwide I predict, all because of these ignorent, arrogent republicans having their egos bruised by an intelligent black man,our Pres.Obama....

    Good morning @chrissy @Jj
What hampered this bill the most was mandated purchase of Health Care. Minus that and this Bill had a chance. In passing permit me to say that Health Care is right not a privilege as some would have us believe. A nation remains strong and on top only if Education and Health Care gets to be a right.
Concept of Universal Health care is not 'socialism'.

A priest is walking down the street one day when he notices
a very small boy trying to press a doorbell on a house across
the street. However, the boy is very small and the doorbell
is too high for him to reach.

After watching the boys efforts for some time, the priest
moves closer to the boy's position. He steps smartly across
the street, walks up behind the little fellow and, placing
his hand kindly on the child's shoulder leans over and gives
the doorbell a sold ring. Crouching down to the child's
level, the priest smiles benevolently and asks, "And now
    what, my little man?"

To which the boy replies, "Now we run!"

@bobcat (in a hat)©, thank you for taking away the morning drudge. LOL, remembering days in childhood, ringing doorbells and running. That's how I got my jollies as a little one but never resorted to involving a priest.

So then the homeowner opens the door to find a priest and a little boy, and the boy is screaming and running away?

That's what you call a joke with a bonus.

    good morning @dazzle
The question that bothers one after reading that piece is " why didn't CIA get OBL then when he was in their 'cross hairs'?
Some would say- hey we needed someone to get pinned for 9/11.

Say what, exactly right. They knew where he was on 9/10, and he was already cia #1, they let him go, because they needed a boogy man

    Birthday Gift

A husband went to buy a birthday gift for his wife. Some friends had been invited over that night to celebrate her fortieth, and he wanted to get something special. At the store he spotted some cute little music boxes. One blue one was playing "Happy Birthday."

Thinking they were all the same, he chose a red one and had it gift-wrapped. Later, at dinner, he gave it to his wife and asked her to open it...

When she lifted the lid, out came the tune to "The Old Gray Mare, She Ain't What She Used to Be!"

Re: the Afghan hostage crisis that is now over:
The explosives were smuggled into the hotel undernead women's burkas.

Re: The woman who was bullied on the bus:
The video was shot by a kid.
There are no cameras on board.

    There should be!

The fund a man started for her, to send her on vacation, now stands at $495,000.
Southwest Airlines have offered to send her and 9 other friends, to an all-expense paid trip to Disneyland.

The boy who shot the video now says he feels bad, saying he caved to peer pressure.

The advent of camera phones and the popularity of You Tube isn't a good thing, IMHO!

@ saywhat, maybe you misinterpreted what i said, at least i hope that is the case. I do not EXPECT health care to be free, but i do EXPECT it to be affordable! If i want to provide health care to my employees i cant break the bank to do it.

Bashing all political parties is not the point here the problem here is that some feel intitled in there beliefs that the other party does not agree with its a shame that Canada has had a program in place for some years and we are so far behind we need to do something about it the job market will open wide up for medical care proffessionals we need to do something about this soon where's the common ground amongst our great leaders it should be team work to help make things affordable for All people

Our government can not reach an agreement on many things but they are supposed to be for the people and by the people Canada has had a health care program for some years now so why can't things just be simplified and put to work, its not intitlement its just common sense that all people should have affordable health care that's all but our leaders seem to run each other over on a continuous basis and not really get any where with there program so get it together senate we need the job done
