Election loser travels out of Egypt

The man who lost Egypt's presidential election left the country Tuesday for the United Arab Emirates, a Cairo airport official said.

Ahmed Shafik left on an Emirates Airline flight, Mohamed Sultan said.

He is not fleeing the country, Shafik's attorney, Showee Elsayed, told CNN.

While some legal petitions accusing Shafik of corruption were submitted in April, prosecutors have not taken legal action against him, so "there are absolutely no legal cases pending against" him, Elsayed said.

When danger reared its ugly head, he bravely turned his tail and fled.
Yes, brave Sir Robin turned about, and valiantly, he chickened out.

If they catch him they will behead him. They love spilling blood out there in the desert.

While there are deserts of sands in Egypt very few beheadings have ever taken place there, in fact beheading is not in their penal code.
Very smart move on Shafik's part as his past corruption was blatant and massive as too extent of money.
Kick Backs alone from US military contractors and perks by our own Intel and State Dept total in 10's of millions.
That he chose the UAW group to live from now in is not surprising in least.
Long a backer of Saudi Royaltys building its Whabbi mosqe and religious organizations in Egypt.some 100's of millipns USD per year, it is a surety that they will welcome he and his vast fortunes.

Oops! The mistake of an idiot, me. not UAW but UAE.
Although the UAW might like his millions in their failing pension plans I doubt rhat they would welcome him.
Shafik was not the power of military. just a side player as the real power lays in Scaf," Supreme Council of the Armed Forces led by man named Tantani, tge real power broker between Egypt and US interest.

Two morons stand on a cliff with their arms outstretched.
One has some budgies lined up on each arm, the other has parrots lined up on his arms. After a couple of minutes, they both leap off the cliff and fall to the ground.Laying next to each other in intensive care at the hospital, one moron says to the other, "I don't think much of this budgie jumping."
The other moron replies, "Yeah, I'm not too keen on this paragliding either."
