Man wearing Afghan police uniform kills 3 NATO troops

Three British troops were shot and killed by a man wearing the uniform of an Afghan national police officer in violence-plagued southern Afghanistan, the British Ministry of Defence said Monday.

They were serving with the NATO-led International Security Assistance Force when they were killed Sunday.

The attack is under investigation, the NATO-led force said.

The British said two of the soldiers were from the 1st Battalion Welsh Guards, and the third was serving with the Royal Corps of Signals.

It was unclear whether the attacker was an Afghan police officer or an infiltrator wearing the uniform.

    Its an inherent flaw in us humans. Not to learn from lessons of history.
    Arrogance,paucity of intellect and wisdom,shortsightedness, twisted thought process drives those in powers of corridors.

    These deaths in Afghanistan are of no more import than any deaths reported stemming from "natural causes; in effect they are but part of the natural and norm.
    It is as natural for a portion of mankind to make a living by conquering other nations, and while for every man in the physical act are relatively few thpse who support him from ten in uniform to nations of hundreds of millions.
    Warfare today is all inclusive, as much now as when tribal warriors were the most lauded of those social structures.
    That a very few nations have so much military prowess that their economies can only profit from warfare and as a consequence the loss of three or many more in fact is written off as the cost of freedom to the punlic while not even a dent in the progits

    the ONLY thing that has changed is the materials used for these "people" to kill themselves! I still cannot comprehend, understand, or except that these actions are done by "normal people"! NOT normal for us, but just another day for them!
